In general... they're full of lectins for a start so you need to pressure cook them to remove the lectins before eating

@@TRUMP-2024-UK l always pressure cook my lentils and beans anyways. I have heard so many nutritionists recommend eating legumes that’s why l was a bit surprised as to why not to eat them.
