This was by far the most brutal and heartbreaking story I've seen on this channel. I would so love to give Ann a hug (only if she'd want one), a home-cooked meal, and some time to relax, just to let her be treated like the wonderful lady she is. All I can think when her grandfather molested her was that her mother probably had gone through it too, and learned to abandon/blame her daughter for what happened from her own mother. The cycle is merciless for those who don't see it and don't stop it.

These interviews are always hard to watch but this one made cry like no other. How much can one person deal with. I can't wrap my head around how much suffering this lady has been through.

I think the worst part is that she is remembering exactly what happened to her... Including her mother blaming her for the abuse..

My mouth stayed open the entire 30 minutes and 47 seconds. I wish I could just rewind time and give her the childhood, parents, life she deserves. I was so numb watching this. As I child I would be upset because I couldn’t get the clothes I wanted or had a house like everyone else. But I had family that loved and protected me. My heart hurts for her

This Story has me feeling really bad and in memories of things that happened to me as a child as I was molested from the age of I can’t remember until I was 9 , But I remember vividly pictures of things that happened to the point where it makes me sick to my stomach, and I don’t even trust people around my children. I really pray that this lady Find forgiveness in your heart to forgive the people who have hurt her so that she can allow space in her heart for the people that we really want to help her. The saddest part, is she knows the person who connected her to these men who committed this crime against her. She may see him again. Her mother, grandmother, grandfather, stepbrother, almost everyone she knows has wronged her! Even her school system abused her as a child. Prayerfully, an angel will come to speak life to her and help her navigate her way to true freedom. She's living in fear, with barely any means to survive. It's tough to hear and see someone in so much pain.

Ann, I’ve watched your interview at least 5 times. It’s always so heartbreaking and horrifying to know what evil humans are capable of but I rewatch this video because you’re phenomenal. You have the inner strength of an Amazon. It’s amazing to me to see someone with such capacity for strength, courage and forgiveness. Everyone failed you as a child and it wasn’t your fault at all. Sometimes I wonder why life becomes so horrible to people especially children. I don't want no unknown person near my kid. This shxt screws people over before they have a chance to live life.

The hardest part about this is how common it is.

I feel emotionally, spiritually and physically exhausted after watching this video. I can’t imagine the strength this woman has to still be standing and breathing. I also find it interesting when women endure trauma they inflict pain on them self (drugs, lifestyle they live) yet men seem to inflict pain on others (rape, domestic or physical abuse). This woman desperately needs protection.

I watched this this morning and it’s been in my head all day at work and now returning home. I am shocked that this just happened a few days ago. WTF?! I feel overwhelmingly angry and disturbed. These men need to be stopped. She needs to be protected for once in her life!

I cried the whole way through this video... this is truly heart breaking

I'm a retired police detective with 35yrs with the police dept in my city 25 of those years as a detective. I interrogated all kinds of criminals and persons. I'm good at listening and detecting holes in stories. I thought at first I heard a hole in her story so I listened a second time and I found her to be very consistent. I'm surprised she's not violent. I've seen women in similar situations end up murdering.4

This was hAnds down the most tragic testimony I have ever heard, seen been through. This takes the cake, i cannot stop welling tears and today i really learned what true empathy means. I feel her pain so deep. Why, why, why. Man i wish i could pick her up and carry her home and nurse her. I believe every single word she said. Wow, why.
