Wow very rare that someone pointed that out. For me it doesnt matter unless there are some serious structural compromises. But the Steel pressed perimeter fram was over buit from 2013. That chassis was capable for way more HP due to its sheer weight and stiffness. That chassis if re-inforced properly can make it onto a 70HP bike no sweat. But the Subframe, Swingarm and the Suspension would have to be changed
Bajaj make it " CHEAPER " So, that BAJAJ would be able to sell it MORE than KTM Duke 390 ...!!!! And it's very obvious that All Indian buyers would go for cheaper one.. instead of expensive DUKE 390. Although BAJAJ using KTM Duke 390 engine on BAJAJ 400Z . ( Many Indian people don't know this. ). Isliye Hamesha har cheez mein BAJAJ piche rehta hai KTM se. Prices ko chodkar...😅

Metal and plastic... Cost of moulds for metal casting is more than plastic I suppose... Also for the same design, metal cast bike will also weigh more... So, plastic would have brought the weight a bit down.... Aerodynamics could pose some problem... :My observations Madam:

1.9 Lakh for 400cc bike is super budget friendly, no one will know it's a small-mid sized sport bike until they take take a closer look at the engine, the bike is super stylish but forget the "kitna dethi hai?" with regards to mileage and only ask for topspeed, because these bikes are meant for speed, I should have waited for this 400cc instead of going for a fully faired 200cc~300ccbike, this bike makes R15 look like trash, you get 3 things - speed, fuel capacity and 400cc for slightly lower price than R15 apart from the awesome tech

There is the most common misunderstanding that the KTM Duke series & Pulsar series have the same engines, let me clear there are a lot of differences inside these engines. Though it visually appears the same, but internally they are totally different. They share some common parts but mechanically & functionally both engines are totally different.
Totally different wagera kuch nai hai. Mainly tuning and gearing different hai. I know this as a fact Mera ek friend kaam karta hai Bajaj me and he has worked on both Bajaj and KTM/Husqvarna bikes.
