My cable service provider had the most entertaining description for this movie; '' A man and his daughter try to escape a city assaulted by vitual ghosts of suicided zombies. '' No fucking jokes, it pretty acurate when you think about it.
People laugh at Phelous for red taping his house but I’ve done the same and I haven’t been attacked by dial-up internet distortion ghosts! So undoubtedly he’s onto something.
I liked the concept of the story being in perspective of a ghost (who is not aware of their death). It could make for a good mystery thriller, but again like a lot of horror films they pulled it off really poorly.
I've heard it said that Phelous is someone who puts a lot of care into making it look like he doesn't care about the things he's talking about. Him screening himself into his own room and ending that scene by rotating himself with a flute noise sealed that deal for me and him taping up his window so that he could get red sunlight in a dark room later confirmed the confirmation.
Great Video! Keep it up! Though if red is the frequency they can't penetrate, why do they need Wirelessless zones? Just wear red and those Internet Ghost won't bother you! you don't even need to go like Mr. Scarlet... just wear something like what Phelous is...
I actually went back and watched the first pulse so I knew what the hell was goin on in this movie, so seeing this review for the 2nd time, kind of makes more sense, even tho the movie doesn't make any sense!! o_O
i cant help but feel that scooby doo cyber chase was inspired by this film....somewhat. btw do you know any websites where i can buy spare transformers parts (not ebay) because i badly want to complete my trypticon set
I'm just saying it says a lot about the mother that she didn't gain custody of the child. It's really hard for the courts to not give custody to the mother even if the father has more child care experience or higher pay. Considering the father was an adulterer that shows how bad she must have been.
That's not really true. Courts often give custody to a father who wants it. Do some research They even give custody to fathers who have demonstrated abusive behavior, or who caused the pregnancy via rape. It's a messed up system.
yeah, lots to LOL about here www.leadershipcouncil.org/1/pas/dv.html Lowenstein, S. R. (1991). Child sexual abuse in custody and visitation litigation: Representation for the benefit of victims. UMKC Law Review, 60, 227-82. Sharon Lowenstein examined 96 custody and visitation disputes involving allegations of child sexual abuse from 33 states. Visitation was the principal issues in 36 cases. The father was alleged to have sexually molested their child in each of these 36 cases. Yet in two-thirds (24) of these cases fathers were granted unsupervised visitation. Custody was the principle issue in 56 cases. In 27 of the 56 cases (48%) mothers lost custody. In 17 of these cases (63%) the mother lost custody to a father alleged to be a perpetrator. In two cases (3.6%) fathers lost custody. No father lost custody to a mother whose household included an alleged perpetrator (either the mother, a stepfather, the mother's boyfriend, or one of mother's relatives). HILARIOUS Look, mothers do get custody most of the time -- because they SEEK IT most of the time. When fathers press hard to get the child, they win most of the time, even if it has been demonstrated that they would be bad fathers.
9:55 "it wasn't even plugged in" - - what, that laptop doesn't have batteries? Why did he even bring a laptop with with him at all - - when he knows he must ditch this digital tech that are doorways for these cyber-ghosts
Oh my god, I watched these films (all of them), and it gets progressively worse (yeah, because the original was any better) as these shitty sequels go on. I'm sure these needed to be made. I'm sure.. Brilliant video as always Phelous. Been binge watching your content like crazy! Great work.
I'm wondering if he had some sort of reason for cheating on her. Normally I don't condone that, but if she's been spending all her time on chatrooms, what was she doing before that? Did she express she loved Steven? If she didn't express any care for him, I can't really blame him. Really, he could have had the decency to leave her first, but she was unstable, so if he was maybe afraid of what she'd do, I can't entirely blame him. I've dated an unstable woman before, but I left her before I started seeing someone else though, because she'd have likely done something worse if I cheated on her and she found out. Well, that and I couldn't handle her anymore. I didn't meet my current GF until months later. I dunno where I'm going with this. He's still too dumb to live, so I really can't sympathize with him either way.
Hah! You are my favorite internet goofball. Keep working your magic. I once said that you could make a box of staplers funny, you should really consider that as an episode :)
Alright, cards on the table: this is a fantastic idea for a horror story. I'm a sucker for "people trying to live in the Apocalypse" stories. But this execution takes LITERALLY every wrong turn! And this isn't even THAT review series!
I think you mean every line is dumber than the _last_ . Unless you're saying the dialogue is getting better. 🤔 Oh right, the mother stops talking. I see...
+James Machuga I think you mean Smiley, the one where they type "I did it for the lulz" three times and a guy with a disfigured face comes and kills whoever is on the other side of the chat?
What this movie really makes me realise is that I actually don't own much stuff that's red. If this apocalypse ever really came to pass, I probably wouldn't make it... and not just because I wouldn't eat my pets.
I wonder how much money these movies got in theaters considering how many there are. At the same time just looking at the amount green screen used the money needed to justify more sequels does not have to be that much either.
It looks like Phelous deleted the review of the first Pulse movie(as in the first one in this particular series) due to the prominent appearance of JewWario in it (if you don't know, he was recently outed as a sexual predator in the midst of all the Channel Awesome drama). What a shame. It was a great episode but it's certainly tainted.
Uh did you miss that human ghost lesbian couple in the beginning bcuz me and my girlfriend didn't. Best ghost movie ever 10/10. Lady has it figured out, don't wear red just make out with gay ghosts
James Lawman I think they are referring to around 1:46 there appears to be two women kissing ones a ghost and one isn't. However I think that's just a woman getting her soul sucked out of her, not actually a lesbian couple.
SpeedyEric1 actually I found out via Google foo that it is Final Fantasy Advance. I wouldn't have figured that out if you didn't say something about it being an FF game so thaaaankssss
I hate to "Actually" you, but colors are just our way of sensing a certain range of electromagnetic frequencies between 400-700, with red light being on the lower end of that range of frequencies, so calling "red" a frequency isn't technically incorrect, it's a simplification that's better than saying "within 425-450 electromagnetic frequencies"
Why not build something to stop wifi? Get a tv remote and a cell phone battery and you can block wifi. Also way was that ghost trying to have sex with that girl?
