It remains a beautiful piece of engineering. If it was a good/the best tank? Opinions are divided about that. Probably like with all things, in some aspects it was good and in some aspects bad.
It was missing the metal sheets that cover the front top of the track. You can even see the 3 opening slots where it is supposed to be attached. It is on hinges normally.
I doubt they put even slightly close to full gear, it’s one of the last panthers left and to push a now antiquated engine to its limits seems foolish, even during the war when the US captured an A6M Zero they didn’t want to push the engine to War emergency power to test its max speed out of fear of damaging the aircraft
If they had built more of these, abandoned the whole "tiger"project(s) and let go of the incredibly heavy tank fetish... I think they would have been better off.
Kettenschürzen nicht original!Schade!Das hätte man wenigstens korrekt "nachbauen" können.Bedeutend zu schmal,so wie zu sehen ja völlig sinnlos.Die Leiter an der Seite ist ja noch verständlich und verkraftbar heute.Aber die Seitenschürzen völlig der Hohn,sorry!Naja.....trotzdem schön sowas noch zu sehen.
