awesome I can't wait, can't get enough of champions. I know it's not exactly like the old ones especially seeing ur live stuff but it's still fun. needs some tweaking but it should be awesome. when did u get into beta? I got in week three

Never heard of that, and I have no real idea... the only thing that comes to mind is "ui_font", but I might just be making that up. Type it in console, see if anything comes up when you hit tab!

for lowest graphic settings just google quake live picmip and i recommend 4:3 1024x768 streched for it is easier to aim or maybe its because it gives u a higher fps in some games making it smoother for your mouse to move im just speaking form my mind its what im comfortable with.

ThomasRobsonOsu He is playing a certain game mode, I think it's instagib with rockets, so you don't take self splash damage, and infinite ammo. In normal gamemodes, rocket jumping will hurt you.

He needs lot's of keybinds for the guns so he has right click to move so that the keys above sdf can be free. Spacebar is to aim because with jump for A, he can have Z for crouch and you don't use those at the same time, and ths leaves spacebar clear for aiming, which you do not use all of the time (spacebar is often too loud).

Rocket Jump Ninja (Gamer Reviews) I tried it. I figured it would force me to react quicker when they switch directions, cus I wasn't catching up with them fast enough. I even tried player lean to give me a little more warning of the switch and force me to move the mouse a little further, chasing the model rather than the hitbox, since I'd know from the hits once I'd caught up with the hitbox. Didn't work though, so now I'm just blaming my 60hz monitor for my bad LG. 35 - 40% is a good game for me with LG against low to mid T-4 opponents, and it's taken since february to get that up from 20%, but for a few months I was playing 8 hours most days, sometimes more. I was on the QL ranks top 5 list for time spent playing Clan Arena for about 5 months running, but mostly I was avoiding any mid-range fights

Rocket Jump Ninja (Gamer Reviews) But...surely the lag means the hitbox is slightly behind the player model, but truelightning makes you move the crosshair forwards of where the beam appears to be going. Or is it the player model that actually lags behind the hit box?

+Ash Scott I remember getting my 120hz screen and saying "well, my aim hasn't improved but this looks amazing!", so I don't think that's the issue. My biggest improvement came with using a smaller mouse. So how big is your hand? Maybe watch some of the mouse reviews on this channel, see if there's anything you like. I can give some recommendations based on your hand size and grip if you want. Also it's starting to sound like you're putting too much emphasis on accuracy. I get people talking themselves up to me because of their accuracy all the time. Then we play one on one, and suddenly they're hitting 15% rail and 25% lg. They of course complain that they're just not aiming well. But the truth is ... there's a lot more to Quake than accuracy. There are games where I'll get an average of 23% accuracy but I'll have 2k more damage than the other players. So who's playing the game better? My theory is simple: You can't take your ammo with you when you're dead. Use it. Spam is a form of map control, even with rail and lg. Shoot from under a ledge and watch people hesitate as they try to look over without getting hit. Shoot at hot spots around walls with rail and listen to them complain that you're hacking. It's nothing too amazing, just a bit of guess work and keeping in mind the routes people use/where they hide a various stages of the round. And I think the game is too fast to rely on thinking about where the hitbox is ... it's better to do it by feel.

Rocket Jump Ninja (Gamer Reviews) I have farmers hands for a girl, I'm not sure how they compare to the average guys hands, but I use a logitech G100s and it feels pretty small. I don't use my palm, I kinda hold it with my fingertips, but I also let my fingertips drag on the mouse mat, which causes a little stuttering when I try to track slowly. When I lift them off the mat, my tracking is smoother, but I don't feel as in control. I've thought about finding a mouse that wouldn't let me drag my fingers like that, but I've never seen one that looks like it would do the job. I really like the sensor in that mouse, though. What you say about accuracy is spot on. I duelled K1llsen a couple times, and had better accuracy on every weapon I used, except LG. But I did half the damage, and the less said about the number of frags the better. It's not a great example, because I'd never played the map before, and don't play duel, so most of the shots I took were in the back, but that still happens in CA. Plus, there are those who might consider him somewhat better than me ;) Oddly, once I'd been playing for a couple of months, and got up off the floor (Long story, but I was playing kneeling down, with the mousepad on the floor, my palm resting on my big toe, and maybe 6cm/360) I was usually the player with the most damage and the fewest frags, because I was way too aggressive. More recently, I've tended to get a lot more frags, but do less damage than other people. I guess I need to find that sweet spot of when to stand and fight and when to bug out. I think tactically, I'm a lot better now because I'm getting more frags and surviving much longer into the round, but my movement is what's stopping me keeping the damage flowing. It takes me a while to get from one kill to the next place I can be useful. All the maps I perfom best on are maps where there's not so much running around, or open maps where I can rail without moving too much. I can do the first few lanes on Raztrain, but it's different in a map with stairs and corners and such. So...the thing I think would help my game more than anything is fast movement. After that, I'll try to tackle that LG problem, or just stop getting into 1v1 LG duels. To give you an idea how bad my movement is...my rocket accuracy is always WAY higher than the next highest player on the server, regardless of whether there are pros present or not. And it's not because I have good rocket aim. I have average rocket aim. It just shows how little I rocket jump. Maybe 5 or 6 rockets a round are used for transportation. I need to start adapting my skills to the game, rather than adapting my game to my skills. (or lack of)
