Im on week 3. And i know you posted this a while ago. But id like to tell you and anybody seeing this that feel this way: toughen up. Saying your weak and you cant handle cravings and cant sleep.. Thats all things your telling yourself. Dont quit cold turkey like a lame. Because youll fail. I went from 2 packs a day to 2 7mg nicotine patches for 3 days. To 1 7mg nicotine patch a day for 5 days. And im now 2 weeks nicotine free. 3 weeks cig free. Feel inspired. I also got welbutrin to help with quitting and id suggest it. Get lollipops. Get jolly ranchers or gum. Occupy your mouth lol. You can do it. I smoked everyday for 14 years and again i quit no problem.

@@nidalkhan6161 You will never completely lose the craving to smoke a cigarette. Even after 3 years of not smoking a single cigarette I still have cravings, but it only last a few seconds. Thanks, I was looking for some positive vibes and instant help while craving. It’s nice to have some conformation that it’s pretty normal to have additional craving in week 3. I am using nicotine bandaids to help, so it’s just the mental addiction I am still struggling with, and got kinda worse today. The advise to do something that gives me a positive outcome while craving I find a helpfull one. Did something straight away as I came to the part you advising it in the video, and it makes me feel good about doing something positive ( which had to be done anyway) instead of smoking. Spend those 4 minutes more usefull then smoking. For any other warriors out there. Stay strong! Some good advise here.

Thanks for the videos doc very helpful thank you so much ☺️.I’m on my forth week (22-23 days) nicotine free. the mix feelings are really annoying sometimes. feeling dizzy sometimes I guess it’s related to anxiety or something else . Thing is I hate cigarettes now I don’t even know what craving feels like it’s weird I know . I don’t crave them . The only way I think about them is me thinking that smoking will make these feelings go away but deep inside of me I know it’s a lie it won’t help me .i really hope these feelings go away in time because the restlessness is killing my spirit I’ve always been an active guy and I have always exercised for 4-5 days/week now I don’t even have the energy like before been exercising 3 times now in 22 days but I have been walking a lot To be honest I feel better today than the first/ second week but not like before I quit smoking . But I’m moving on I’ve been smoking for almost 13 years it shouldn’t be easy at the beginning you have to suffer a little bit to learn otherwise you can smoke and quit anytime . Any tips recommendations. Thanks for your videos again doc really helped me

Asad Haider AlJobori Thanks for your mail I quite understand your reaction and I would like to say it is Normal, so dont be worried, I think you are doing great, from your Mail I understand you are quite Determent, but you need just to be open And don’t fear this feeling, they Are limited And it’s a matter of time, And they Are a part of How nicotine try to deceive you, so please ignore them as you ignore any stupid person com Across Your Daily life, they are just passenger and has nothing to do with your daily life , soon or later they will Disappear, more you ignore them less likely to come in again and they will getting weaker with time, so in a few weeks time, you will feel The different, in other words you wake greet pass so far of time and challenges, and you prove it possible, And you know that Very well you are in the right direction, and in the Road to the right gule in your life, all you have to do is keep going, like all this challenges dont exist, finely sooner or later you are free man again and to the rest of life. Wish you all the best.

Hi Christian it's quite normal to have such kind of undefined feeling up and down, as nicotine leaves your body, and the body and its hormones try to readjust itself without the influence of nicotine, so do your best to be patient, and keep yourself busy with any activity. be proud of yourself and remind yourself what you are doing is something you wish to do a long time ago, and it's a huge achievement, and if this achievement demands little patience from you so it is worth it. wish you good luck

@dr.kimoquitsmokingandnicot79 5 лет назад
Hi again Vimal, all of this reaction quite natural sensation it's really all about how you interpreted your own feeling in your mind, more then what you feel, your subconscious mind magnifies this negative sensation to convince you to go back to your old habit, and that's happened completely unconsciously, it's in the subconscious mind the addiction located, and the subconscious mind getting hungry for nicotine, mostly in the second and third week of quitting, so you have to resist for a while, and the best way to resist this feeling is to accept them, celebrating them and welcome them, they are there to free you. After all, you make a wise and brave decision and you stand for it that long, So it's more something to celebrate than to fear or complain about, therefore be proud of yourself and be happy for what you have achieved so far. This sensation is just a false alarm and natural consequence of quitting your addiction, so instead of fearing, fighting or resisting them, just welcome them and celebrate them after all, you have done great work, and as your body somehow gets confused and out of balance in how to deal or cope with the new lifestyle, so from your end you have to calm your body like you calming down a worried child in a dentist room. So be careful and be patient in how you communicate you're feeling, don't magnify them and overestimate, neither underestimate them. In other words, be realistic and be careful, else you will be overwhelmed by them. Because after all, all this sensation are no more than false alarm recalling old habits, and there is nothing to fear, they are neither harmful or dangerous, But they are there for a while, they will come and go until you body get adapted to the new you, you, and then they will disappear, without even knowing them. wish you good luck Dr. Kimo Brittany Hurst Brittany Hurst • 1 week ago @Dr. Kimo Quit smoking and nicotine addiction you are a blessing!!! it's a quite natural after quitting smoking, that our subconscious mind interpret any negative experience, or health hustles, as a consequence of quitting smoking, because what happened with us after quitting smoking, can have happen with us before we quit, but we never refer it to anything, we just catch cold and that Natural, This is how the addiction in our subconscious mind, try to convince us to go back to smoke, and that's how addictions try to demand it's right, and try to convince you to go back to smoke, and whenever we contradicting any unpleasant experience or reaction after quitting smoking, Than our subconscious mind automatically interpreted as a consequence of quitting, so we have to be careful how we interpret things, wish you all the best, but again Remember not even a puff or a drag of nicotine or cigarette, else you will be back to Ground Zero

3 weeks my resting heart rate is nearly 10 higher. Very annoying to read EVERYTHING robotically saying smoking lowers heart rate with absolutely no explanation why this is happening now
@dr.kimoquitsmokingandnicot79
@dr.kimoquitsmokingandnicot79 2 года назад
Just a normal reaction after quitting, because of the stress of quit smoking inflicted with normal stress response , so it began to send a fairing signal, and this fair signal raised the heart beat, witch lead to confusion as ther is nothing to fair , and that lead to heart bet quickly, what we call it a heart palpation. so nothing to worry about, just keep calm, it’s a normal reaction, like the body receiving a false fire alarm that provoke your stress response mekanisme. So please don't Fear it, it is somehow unpleasant for a while, but it will not last forever. So please just relax and go on with your life as normal.

@dr.kimoquitsmokingandnicot79 5 лет назад
Hi Dulley; Yes coughing is a part of the quitting process, so please be Tolerant, and don't be annoyed with it, it will go over in a few weeks time. The lungs try to clean itself up in addition there is a little dryness that's made the tissue of the bronchitis little hard like a dry skin- and that's great irritation in the throat causing coughing- so try to drink liquid or milk or yogurt that will help to sort down the dry tissue. all the best good luck
