r/Entitledparents In today's episode, OP lives in an apartment by the beach. Her landlord brings by a prospective tenant (the entitled father) to check out the apartment, and he actually has the audacity to say that he wants to sleep there for the night. When OP refuses, he comes the next day and demands to be let in so he and his family can live there for a few days. Is this guy nuts?! Guinea pigs cant live with rabbits as rabbits carry bortatella (may be spelt wrong but i cant be bothered to look it up in my very old college paper lol ) anyway bortatella doent effect rabbits but can kill guinea pigs plus guinea pigs carry a illness that kills rabbits but not them cant remember its name 😊 also in the peter rabbit story where the rabbits eat the lettuce and go to sleep in reality lettuce has a opioid effect on rabbits which can kill them as it slows down the heart rate and lungs till they stop so lettuce is very very bad to bunnies . 🐇🐰You shouldn't keep them on wood shavings either due to the pine oil it poisons them sadly i learned that one the hard way when i lost over 21 show rabbits in 2 days to pine oil poisoning😓 i no longer show rabbits but i now use rape straw horse bedding on my 2 bunnies glenn and ilias which isnt toxic to them. Another thing rabbits should not have is corn on the cob i know pet stores sell them but like all mammals they cant digest it and it can block their intestines and kill them ive seen it several times sadly rabbits also cant vomit yep im full of useless information

This was the only route to and from the town, so the town petitioned the state to repair the bridge. The state basically ignored their cries for help, so the mayor of Vulcan hatched a plan. He sent a letter to the Soviet Union asking them to replace the bridge, and a Soviet reporter came to the town shortly after to survey the bridge. The next day, the state of West Virginia started that they would be replacing the bridge, and spent over a million dollars to do it!

Hey Finn, I have a few fun facts about cats! - When cats slow blink, this is like them blowing a kiss at you. They're closing their eyes and letting you know that they feel safe enough to be vulnerable to you. If a cat gives you a slow blink, do a slow blink back at them! - Cats headbutt people and things to leave their scent on them. They have scent markers where their eyebrows would be. It also feels good to leave their scent behind, so petting in that area feels good to them! - Sometimes cats come into the same room that you're in and then sit with their back to you. This isn't them purposefully trying to ignore you, this is another sign of trust. They trust you enough to expect you to protect your back, that's why they turn their back on you. - Sometimes cats refuse to eat without their human in the same room. This is the same thing as above, they trust their human enough to protect their back while they're eating and not paying attention. - Cats ears and tail and just body language in general are a good indication of what they're thinking. Ears upright and forward show a cat is interested in front of them. Ears backward and flat show an aggressive cat. A tail twitching slightly can either show a playful cat or an annoyed cat. A cat with an arched back and fluffy tail is trying to intimidate something. A cat in silly poses with their belly exposed or just in awkward positions is a very happy and content cat, and they feel very safe. - A cat's claws are like their fingers. To de-claw a cat (which is sadly a rather common thing) is to remove their fingers. This is a very bad thing to do and can have some very bad mental health effects on the poor cat. Never de-claw a cat. - People who like dogs tend to dislike cats because they expect them to act like dogs, which is not the case. Dogs wag their tail when they're happy while cats swish their tail when they're VERY unhappy and about to attack something. Dogs love belly rubs but most cats don't want you to touch their belly even if they're showing it. Dogs are floor animals, but cats like to be high up on things. Dogs know that humans are different than them, but still consider them pack members while cats think that humans are ridiculously oversized cats who don't know how to cat very well, but that humans are still apart of their clan. Aggressively petting a dog will make them excited and happy, while aggressively petting a cat will make them aggressive back at you. - Kittens meow to communicate with each other, but adult cats don't really meow to anyone except humans -Cats are actually social animals, not solo animals, contrary to popular belief. They love interacting with humans and cats who are a part of their clan and get defensive against strangers they don't recognize. - and my final little tidbit is that grooming is a way to show dominance. If you ever see two cats grooming each other, then fighting with each other, but then right back to grooming each other, you are witnessing an adorable fight for dominance.
@RedT...TheOriginal.NotANumber
@RedT...TheOriginal.NotANumber 4 года назад
Cats will bring their people gifts because they think we're oversized kittens who aren't able to hunt for ourselves, and we'll starve without their help. Also, random aside: my dog (labrador) is an only dog in a house with several cats, so now he thinks he's a cat. He's picked up some of the cats' more "charming" characteristics... like thinking he belongs in people's laps. So I've taken to calling him a "lap-rador".

I love facts too, so here are some facts for Finn about my favorite animal, the elephant: - Elephants are one of the only animals that can understand human pointing with no training - Elephants bury their loved ones and even revisit the graves generations later. They also will bury humans who have passed on. They even experience grief. - Elephants have three times as many neurons as a human - An elephant named Keshik can imitate human speech by putting his trunk in his mouth. He can say words like "hello", "good", "no", "sit down" and "lie down". Scientists still aren't sure how he does this. - When a baby elephant is born, the whole herd will participate to take care of it. They will surround the new mother to prevent her from being harmed. - Elephants eat between 200 to 900 pounds of food in a day, and drink up to 50 gallons of water. They spend about 75% of their lives finding and eating food. - Elephants can tell the difference between different human languages, and can tell if the person speaking is an adult or a child, or a male or female. - Elephants can learn to play instruments, or even paint - Baby elephants suck their trunks, like a human child sucks their thumb.

The oldest person ever to use lived was Jeanne Louise Calment,a French lady who lied to be 122 years old. It takes 252-411 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. The heart of a blue whale is 5ft long and weighs 400lbs while an elephant heart is around 30lbs and a humans is a mere 10 ounces. Polar bears actually have black skin,it's just that their fur is see-through (not white) so it reflects light,making it look white. Tigers skin is actually striped,just like their fur and no two fur patterns are alike. There are no muscles in your fingers;their function is controlled by the muscles in your palms and arms. Skin is the body's largest organ. German chocolate cake doesn't come from Germany;it was James after Sam German who created a type of baking chocolate in 1852. Finn here’s a fun fact! My country, Scotland, formed in 843, but we have a lot of rock art, stone circles, cup marked stones, cists and more that far predate the unification of Scotland! The Pictish people were around 300-843, Scotland during this period was made of 6 nations that unified in 843. We have many stunning Pictish stones around the north-east that have beasts, bulls, moons, battle scenes and Celtic patterns. The various stone circles (there’s over 250 in Aberdeenshire alone, near where I live) are around 4,000 years old! They’re dated to roughly 2,000BCE. Some can be specifically dated to the Beaker People period, 2,400-1,800BCE because they used bell beakers for human remains. So our country is extremely old and has a lot of still standing pieces of history all around the country!

Fun fact for Fynn: When Mozart was only fourteen, he accidentally stole an important piece of music from the Catholic Church. It was only performed in the Sistine Chapel on Easter and no one else had the sheet music. Mozart heard it once and wrote it down perfectly note for note one day when he was bored. Mozart: World's First Music Pirate. Also, Haunter and the other original ghost trio were my favorites too. Last convention I was able to attend I cosplayed as a ghost type trainer with my big Haunter plushie on my shoulder.

Since everyone else is doing this may as well throw in a railroad one... Hey Finn! Here’s a fact: In 1953 the Pennsylvania Railroad's(PRR) GG1 number 4876 was used as power for PRR's part of a Boston to Washington passenger train known as the "Federal Express". En-route the trains air brake would not apply. The train ran straight into the station and through the stationmaster's office. With good communication and quick thinking no one was kill and only 80 people were injured. With the inauguration of President Eisenhower coming up they didn't have time to remove the locomotive from the station in time. So in quick time the PRR dropped the WHOLE LOCOMOTIVE INTO THE BASEMENT OF THE STATION, put a false floor over the whole thing and no one was the wiser. After the inauguration the locomotive was taken out of the basement, repaired, and continued to serve the rails until 1983 when it was retired by NJ DOT. The locomotive now lives at the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum. They left a 475,000lb, ~80ft long locomotive in the basement of a station with out many people knowing and got it back into working order just like that. Cause of the whole thing was found to be an air valve on one of the coaches kept closing when going around curves. Look up "Washington Train-Smash" on youtube for a short film showing the wreck. Stan Finn for clear skin Also here’s a fun fact: Superman didn’t always fly. The original comic book Superman could leap tall buildings in a single bound. But then he had to come right back down to Earth because he didn't fly. It wasn't until the 1940s, when animators for a new animated series decided it would be too difficult to routinely draw him bending his knees, that it was decided that Superman could take off into the air. Readers got to see smooth animation, and a superhero gained a new power.

Hey, Finn. It's been a few years, but if you see this, Aussie to Aussie, got a fact for you: If you're familiar with the movie Thomas and the Magic Railroad, you may be surprised that the actor originally intended to play the little blue tank engine, John Bellis, got the job thanks to being Britt Allcroft's taxi driver. She heard his voice and, after a rather impromptu audition, thought, 'That's Thomas's voice right there!' In the end, though, Bellis was dropped in favour of Canadian VA Eddie Glenn.
