Being a parent is tough enough. Having someone say that is extremely cruel. Losing a child is most parent's worst nightmare. Very few want to see any of their children die before they pass away. A coworker lost his oldest son and it has taken his wife decades to overcome her grief.
Even if someone actually is an employee, you still NEVER have the right to touch them, yell at them, threaten them, etc. Some people deserve a swift kick in the teeth.
@@ekramer2478 As cruel as it is right now to say this, I hope COVID caught up with that despicable woman. Had I been in the OP's shoes in that story and if it had been my first kid, I would have definitely lost my temper and eventually ended up in prison cause the end result... wouldn't have been pretty. Anger is a very scary thing, especially when paired with a ruthlessly creative mind.
Going to jail is worth it if I can get rid of people like that. They would all be gone, and I would have a life sentence. (Sorry for the bad spelling, if there is any. I tried as heck.)

In the first story, with the way OP decided to reply to Karens in a calm, matter if fact way. This made me think of the comedy duo "Abbott and Costello", specially with their baseball skit. Where one of the two, was calmly telling the other the very odd names of a baseball team. With the other getting frustrated and upset with every passing moment, because he couldn't understand what was going on. LOL
The second to last story about the woman who lost her baby is probably one of the clearest examples of “Be nice to people, you don’t know what they’re going through”
The couple returning the clothes have the patience of saints. I'd just "I came into this world screaming and covered in someone else's blood I'm not afraid to leave it the same way"
First story: best thing I've ever heard. Third story: I'm crying. My heart is breaking for the mom and I'm pissed off at the old hag. My husband has me hooked on this channel.

I actually haven't been reading along this time, only listening. But rSlash makes at least one reading mistake in literally every episode. Most of the time, he ends up completely ruining or reversing what OP is actually saying. So, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a misread, because he literally does it in every single episode.
When I heard the old hag said "maybe it's better for people like you" I felt such rage. My Aunt lost two baby's because of a similar situation to op. I garentee if I had been there that would have been her last day living.
Of all the stories I listened to here, I never felt rage quite like what I felt towards that old woman. I hope OP gets better soon. She needs all the love and support she can get.

To the OP who lost her baby: if you're reading this, I just want to say I'm so, so sorry, and although I know it's been a long time, I know you must still be hurting. You're incredibly kind and generous to even think of donating the return money to the hospital with other people's children in mind. It just goes to show what an amazing person you are. I hope things have gotten better for you. 💜
My heart breaks for OP and her husband. We lost my brother (19) 8 months ago and I still don’t have the courage to look at his belongings. I know how draining it is to be in public while grieving.
The story with the parents who just lost there kid got me so heated 🙌🏻 I want to go punch that granny in the face- no idea how they managed to hold back
If that had been my grandmother, I would've told her to find her own way home. I refuse to be related to anyone who thinks it's ok to speak that way to anyone for any reason, let alone right after experiencing a loss as painful as a child.
They think the police are personal servants who will always believe them and punish anybody they don’t like. It’s pathetic and sad that they think that way and then are shocked when the cops put cuffs on them after seeing the security footage.
They have "holyer then thou" attitude. It's annoying that they think they can scare people and threaten them and that their "high and mighty" and won't get trouble for what they done. Thank God that most do get a slap from karma. (Sorry if that didn't make sense, I be sleepy right now.)

First story: I see now. Karens are so absentmindedly having spiteful thoughts all the time that they've forgotten actual literacy. This guy is not just a down-to-earth comedian, but also a hero for having found yet another weapon for us to use against Karens. Oh, and this is also why I never go to the grocery store in anything that could be misinterpreted as work attire - I learned that lesson once when I was approached by another customer while wearing an ordinary yellow reflective jacket - fortunately they were decent people and just laughed it off when I told them. Second story: Am I the only one who's so used to think that emergency dispatchers are all female that I automatically assumed that OP was a woman? If so, I'll have to apologize. Although I feel like OP should call out on having the colors of the police department's dispatcher uniforms changed - I think blue shirts and cargo pants should do the trick. Third story: Post says two hours ago, rSlash said two years ago. It is confirmed that rSlash is a time traveler and has sent us this video from the future! On a serious note though, if I heard those exact words that old hag had coming out of her filthy mouth, I would look her dead in the eye and tell her "I only respect those who show me respect in return, and right now your hypocritical insinuation is far from respectful. Let go of me right now or I'll teach _you_ a lesson in respect!". And sure enough, someone who shows no sympathy over the tragic loss of life aren't worthy of the privilege of being alive, let alone live any form of good life. Whether karma will have its due with her, we can only hope. Fourth story: Sounds like an r/EntitledPeople candidate, with a hint or r/NiceGirls. That girl sounds like all kinds of red flags, and I feel bad for anyone she tries to "persuade". Don't fret it OP, it just sounds like you became the target of contempt by people with sexist double-standards who still takes every women's words for granted, even if it's a lie - there's nothing you could've done to change that outcome, lest you wanted to play into her scheme.

That old lady has a very, VERY special spot in hell with her name on it. Also mad respect to the OP and her husband in that situation for their restraint... How that old bat lived to be that old with her attitude, I'll never know; saying what she did to most people would probably work out about as well as poking a sleeping dragon in the eye.

8:47 Dang. I was born a month premature with under developed lungs and survived to come home during New Years (December baby). I can't imagine my parents going through what OP did if they had lost me as they had my brother to look after as well because he was only one year old and probably wouldn't think to try again either for years or never. That old bat of a flesh bag better hope that she gets mercy when she dies because she's lucky to have small children to look forward to seeing as healthy human beings. Parents having to let go of their kids by cutting off their life support from anything is painful enough. I wish OP the best and that if she and her husband ever try again that their next little angel gets to come home and grow up with love and happiness.
