My store doesn't have a STORE manager. I jokingly suggested to our DISTRICT manager about how we should say "WE DONT HAVE A MANAGER" if someone asks. She thought it was hilarious and said until we find a decent GM to run the store, we're absolutely allowed to do that, as long as it was only on night shift (customers are usually younger and/or too high to care). I haven't had to say it yet, but boy do I want to 😂

To answer your question at 1:20, I'm a lawyer and no he can't sue over a negative review. He can definitely try, but there is no chance of it being successful unless the review is completely false and is damaging to the business.

And that although they wouldn't perhabs had fired her. Just told her in her place. I mean, as OP said, she didn't knew who they are. Yes, she acted not good, especially if OP would have been a customer, but that was a first-day-mistake. And perhabs it would have made her learn to not be a self righteous bitch just because she is the "chief secretary". But she chosed instead to leave immediately. Also a "solution" ;)
