I would be willing to bet a kidney that by now, those 2 are apart and ended up with massive resentment for one another because of how shitty their lives became when they got together. Theres no fukin way their relationship survived all that.

I near started crying when OP said he was crying even writing the first few sentences. Horrible horrible feeling to be cheated on. Although he got revenge, I think it was actually necessary. If the cheaters were breaking the rules of their public positions then they really did need exposing. Hope Sarah and OP find happiness after this.

That little imaginary event you thought of in the first story actually happened with my parents. My mom and dad were dating other people but then everyone broke up and dated the other person.

Cheating with your kids' friends' parent is awful in so many ways. Speaking from experience, it ruins relationships almost instantly You're not a good parent if you can't see what's wrong with that

i have a saying and it goes, “If somebody has enough dirt on them to get their entire life destroyed, they deserve it.” and i lived by that.

My family used to rent a cabin in the woods for a few weeks every summer. It wasn’t the nicest place, had some issues, and was a bit dated (cracked mirror, stains on carpet, one of those old TVs that has a nob for like 10 channels, Carpenter ants, holes in the deck; you get the picture) but it made my mom happy so there we stayed. A while back, my parents lost their jobs so we haven’t been able to go. It’d been over 5 years since we set foot in the place when my mom received a letter in the mail from the rental place saying they are suing us for damages. What damages? Cracked mirror, stains on the carpeting, etc. My mom calls them up and is able to prove that none of the damages were caused by us. Not only did she have pictures of the damages from when we first stayed there 12 years ago, but the original rental agreement which stated all these previously known damages. For some reason, the company had stopped walkthroughs and listing damages. Didn’t go to court and I don’t have anything more exciting to share than that, just a weird story of greedy people. The rental company went under a year later for poor management practices.

Wow. I actually felt the first story. It’s kinda personal but something similar happened to my parents. Without the job losses anyway. My dad has a lot of friends, in my town some of the other towns, and the local city. (I feel bad for my dad, this is the second time he’s lost a marriage to a cheating wife, including my mother when I was 2 months old). Either way, my stepmom and my dad seemed to be splitting apart until one day we had a family meeting, my dad is balling, and my stepmother had the audacity to try to get him to move out with me to my Grampa’s house, while he has paid for most of the house. He’s talked to me about it, and revealed that apparently she and the guy had been having an affair, including the guy on his wife. Well, needless to say now me and my dad have the house, and they don’t have many friends in the area, with most of her friends being more friends with my father.

I have had 2 property managers keep part of my deposit claiming the blinds were torn up. The most recent, I took pics of each room as I finished cleaning them, including all of the blinds, and still, they claimed the blinds were left torn up and included a picture. I sent them my own pictures showing nothing wrong with the blinds. They sent me the same pics once again telling me they have pictures. I was working third shift and didn’t have the time or energy to mess with it. I’ll never rent from this management company again and would strongly excuse other not to.
