Tbh I thought the radio neighbor story, op was going to cut the cables and go "oops I thought it was Ivy"

In the first story I would have called the police station immediately after hearing the cops tell the neighbors who it was that reported them and report the officers for endangerment.

For the girl in the last story she's being heavily abused with the evidence that this guy has he can help her to get a safe place away from her man I hope she's gonna be ok

Story: He went to jail for 12 weeks. 3 full months behind bars. Rslash: Got it. 2 weeks.

I feel like stories like the first one that have useless police, are the reasons why vigilante justice stories are popular.

Last story, OP should have timed it for the police to show up about the time he realised his car was gone, calling in about a domestic disturbance.

I haven't even gotten through the first story with the pirate radio neighbors yet, but when OP talks about how the cops handled it, it just reinforces what we all know... NEVER CALL THE COPS, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!

Those pirates could have gone on for years. But they had to be d-bags to everyone. This is like 5 year old jumping around yelling "look at me" in a library. Well when you get everyone looking while you're breaking the law of course the hammer is going to come down.

After high school I moved to the city for work, on the next block over there was a dipstick that played loud music, and partied Friday night through Sunday. He was asked by folks three blocks away to tone it down, but he was a bully, and intimidated most people to backing down. Unfortunately the police were pretty much useless there. I'm not sure who put an end to his garbage, but I saw the end result, and got the story from his neighbor. One party was going loud' and rowdy at 2 AM, when someone walked into his house, grabbed his shirt collar, proceeded put fist to nose, repeatedly. Pounding away all the way across his living room, and dropped him on his couch. I lived in that area for two years, and never heard loud music, or rowdy parties again. The lesson I learned was, you really don't have to put up with loud, obnoxious, bullies. There are many ways to bring that nonsense to an end, pain, and humiliation seems to work the best, lesson learned.

Bully neighbors have to be set in their place immediately. I moved with my mother in 2013 and the next door neighbor came over when we were moving in to helpfully remind us that we were parking on her grass. My mother, not missing a beat, said that it was interesting that the fence leading to the backyard of the house we're moving into was well past the spot on the grass that we parked, meaning that unless the neighbor was claiming that her front yard extended 15 feet into our property, we were not parked on her grass and we had nothing else to talk about. The lady just walked off.

While they were starting to installing the Insulation I noticed some extra space between the insulation and the wall. So I asked " Can you put another layer of insulation in? " The guy said " If I put in another layer of insulation that would be equal to sound proofing." So I said " Sure that's okay I want the room quite for my kid." They installed the extra insulation, got paid and left. A year later a group of college students started renting the house across from us and they were being loud just to annoy everyone. But none of the night time parties with loud music bothered our kid. Eventually the college students eager to annoy us pooled their cash to buy a massive JVC speaker. The speaker killed the local power supplies relay box. The entire neighborhood was so pissed off they got together and purchased the houses lease for the next year.

Can we stop for a second and give this man an award, he´s uploading daily to give us all a video to enjoy, thanks for all your content and your time.

The neighbor in the first story reminded me of an EntitledParents or EntitledPeople (one of those) story where OP and their husband moved into an apartment a floor above some insane 60-ish year old woman who had the tendency to smack the ceiling and play music at full blast whenever OP or Husband made even the slightest squeak. The woman even made several false reports to the police. Unfortunately, OP and Husband couldn’t do anything about it, and wound up leaving a year later, and the two wound up with PTSD. That woman was one heck of a sociopath, and I'm surprised nobody has gone scorched earth against her. Let's hope the people that moved into that apartment after OP won’t be so nice to her.

My family had the back yard redone and while we had one shed it was not fitting everything we needed. In my town there is a bylaw that you can only have one shed in your yard, but my dad still put a second one in. (Granted we refurbished it to be a pool house for when my aunt was staying over, but it is still a shed.) Now my backdoor neighbors were pretty irritating, complained about us and everything. We were lucky they moved as the yard was being redone. so they never saw the second shed go up. My neighbors now (Both next door and backdoor) are pretty cool, they don't bother us. The shed is not really hidden, but luckily no one complain so its not like the cops are peeking over fences to see who has two sheds.

The last story: I would have never stopped calling a tow truck on this douchebag neighbor. I used to have trouble with neighbors in my apartment building, and what I did to get them to stop with the noise, was ring their doorbell… FOR MONTHS ON END. They worked 9-5, and I worked nights, so I rang the bell every time I got home. And not just once either, I’d press the button several times to make sure they heard it, and it would wake them if they weren’t awake already. I didn’t do it every day without fail, but if there wasn’t anyone in the stairwell, it was go time. They probably could guess it was me, but they never caught me, nor did they ever talk to me about it. I can be petty AF, and am damn proud of it.

For the last one I would have sued the neighbor for $900,000. Maybe that will help him be a better neighbor in the future.

I agree with RSlash. Until that neighbor apologizes to me and reimburses my friend for the $500, I’d have his car towed every single day for as long as him and I are in that neighborhood.

First story: wait, they were partying and make noise all night, but expected you to accommodate the partners sleep schedule? Why? I have a neighbour like that. Partying at all hours. So I did a lot of 9am hoovering. She was eventually evicted cos she didn't pay rent and broke a window. Also appearently, tampered with the electric meter. So happy that the new neighbors aren't psychopaths.

1st story: In the Netherlands it was for a time very popular to illegally broadcast (think 80's 90's) I think it was a spin off the 27 MC band craze after movies like Convoy. There where people who literally spent then thousands of dollars in (illegal) radio equipment, just to broadcast very trashy Dutch languaged folksong (same like German schlager music). And lets just say that those kind of people were trashy and often not the brightest kind of the human race. OBVIOUSLY the solution to the guy yelling at his wife over having the car towed would be to call in a noise/domestic complaint for yelling...

This is a painful trip down memory lane. A few years ago, I lost my wife, twin 1 year old daughters, and unborn child. Freya (named after Freya Crescent) and Deanna (named after Counselor Deanna Troi), we were both nerds.

The noisy neighbor set himself up for an arrest in letting the neighbor come in and trim the ivy. And he lost everything as a result. Nuclear revenge... Douchebag neighbor (#2) breaks the rules and gets a taste of his own medicine.

Shoulda called the cops and had them come over at about 2:30pm to talk to the wife, or at one of the usual times "Fire-lane F'tard" likes to scream at his wife. If the cops can hear that, and learn it's a regular thing (because you knew to call them over at a specific time), dude might wind up in jail. Much better than getting his car towed, and maybe it'll empower the wife to get rid of that loser. Poor girl...

So that means OP in the first story didn't need to move... besides, with moving, the neighbor could concluded that OP was the one who reported them... And agree, I would never stop reporting the neighbor in 2nd story... I will keep a record to see how many times he keep doing that before he learn... I honestly can't believe how the cops pointed them out in the first story! They are not suppose to do that... I have a noisy neighbor who drives me nuts with his bass music at ALL hours! You know the music where they play the bass real loud so all you hear is boom boom and can't really hear the music! (I don't get why people like listening to music like that because I can't understand or hear the actual song just boom boom!) We have called the cops a few times and told them strait up that we didn't want them to know who called and they told us that they would tell them that they heard the music while on patrol! Sadly this seems to embolden them to do it more... I don't call during the day because well you can't help that even thou noise ordinances say they are in violation if we can hear it in our house so times don't matter! I'm just too nice... but at night I draw the line because I have 4 kids with 2 in school! Worse thing is they have a LOT of kids living over there too so I don't know how they sleep with that music blaring... I have had other problems in the past with them dumping trash on my lawn and them calling the cops on me when I moved it back!!! The "trash" was a busted up door that looked like it was punched to death and windows the fit their house not mine so they ended up getting in trouble for it! lol I can only hope that I get my own pro-revenge story out of these terrible neighbors someday!

I had a d'bag neighbor who had my ex's car towed because, "it was in the fire lane." Well d'bag ended up parking his big pickup truck there every day after that so, I called the Fire Marshal who promptly impounded his truck.

I would have never stopped towing that last guy's car every time it was parked there, and I'd also call in anonymous domestic abuse reports and include recordings of the tirades he directs at his wife, when *he* legally gets himself towed.

this sounds like my neighborhood. the suburbs are amusing, and filled with pettiness. I had to deal with a recent situation. my property is next to a ditch. none of my property is the ditch. I've had to deal with the county several times, coming to cite me for too tall grass. anyway, my neighbor is responsible for the care of the ditch. she told me she was going to charge me for mowing my side of the ditch. fuck that. I called up the county again, and we compared surveys. the cops were called because she was yelling (it's a super small town). anyway, we found out the management company was responsible for mowing because it was changed to a community property (the ditch itself). so, we teamed up. the police went over to tell the management company to reimburse us and mow the goddamn ditch because they were ignoring us. they found out that the financial officer was embezzling money and she's now serving 10 years over 1 million dollars. she has to pay that back too. took her big house, took her mercedes', their boat, and more.

You are my favorite voice to listen to on here! I really get frustrated when you don’t read the full context though, (you know the stuff in parentheses) because it generally gives more insight and good or funny info that we miss out on when we are just listening

I'm dutch and i just want to testify the "dutch bangers" the guy was playing over pirate radio are indeed torture. It's not music, usually the backgrounds seem to be standard and then one guy or girl with a wobbly voice sings a bad song over it. I really wonder if they do it over the phone with a "select background song nr3" but a certain type of dutch person loves that, they also drink a lot of beer and like it loud and sing along. Anytime there is an event in my neighbourhood these sorts of "artists" are the ones they invite, they don't need a band just a mircophone that goes on loud. The people who run these pirate stations are super involved and think their whole selfimage is based on that job and chat and the people who listen so trust me losing that equipment and not running it anymore will have hurt him deeper than any jailtime or community service or money or home. They tend to start over later.
