I'm glad OP got their revenge, but I hear this stuff too often. Too many employers don't even think to investigate claims when someone states they are being overworked and doing work for someone else.

I used to work at a breakfast restaurant, and I had a manager who was the spitting image of a Karen. She had the diagonal hair, resting jerk face, etc, but she behaved the exact opposite. I liked working when she was the acting GM because she wouldn't tolerate customers getting out of line. If someone got rude, they'd have to apologize or they wouldn't get service
My mom watches this with me and we always find it extra funny because her name is Karen and she IS NOTHING like the entitled parents on here. She uses discipline, and sets boundaries, and when one of my siblings or myself steps out of line she corrects us, and if we do something disrespectful we get a good talking to. She’s never let us get away with anything like these entitled parents do. (Probably because we’re Mexican)

@@CaptSlog ya, i would, for a friend i and many others would do that they r what r called "TRUE FRIENDS" not just best friends or close friends like a proper big brother, i strive to keep to 2 mottos "b a better friend than the day b4" simply bcuz i feel i should and "forgive today for what may happen tomorrow or yesterday for what happened today" tho that being for those that deserve such a friendship and benefits, tho i dont expect the same from any friend just to b a decent friend. but the type that always have the memes and stuff like "some1 hurt u? i got the shovel lets go". i just havent been lucky enough to become friends with such ppl. (met around 8 ppl that mightve been like that if i ever saw them again, they gave off the vibe they rly wanted to b friends, sadly fate/coincidences got in the way in some way each time somehow, ive met 90+ ppl that have given me fake contact info or been completely ignored). had a 14 yr old friendship and the gf eventually said to him u cant friends with chris anymore and that was that.

I would have pointed out her marking "yes" on the question "Have you ever been arrested or do you have any felony convictions?" and asked her to explain. Then watch her squirm.
I agree, he should have prolonged the interview, being sure to say, "Oh, I see on your application you listed a felony conviction. Care to tell us all about that?"
attempting to press charges could really have saved your ass. An investigation with the resources of the police could really have made those rings appear

For that ring story, if I knew I was in hot water anyway and they asked if I was the last person to touch the box, I would have said “if that were true then how did she open it up to check the contents?”
Note that in the first story, Company B was right to fire OP. He was responsible for the rings, and because he didn't respect the security procedure it got stolen. He's not the culprit, but he was definitely responsible.

Ok so this story is told in the point of view of my sisters freind "I was at school one day and one of the teachers mistook me for a middle schooler I am 4'8 and allergic to make up so I can kind of understand it but it was still sad lol as I am a junior in highschool .-. I had to explain to the teacher that I was not skipping anyone's class and that I was on a free period she the replied by saying " you don't get those till highschool sweet heart "I wanted to punch her cause she sounded like a karen like she even has the may I speak to your manager hair cut anyways I told her my name as well as my grade (which is junior ) and told her she could take it up with Mr J (our principal ) and ask him about it she said there would be no need as she would take me to class herself I responded by taking out my phone and calling Mr J myself she tried to grab my phone and I just stepped back I explained to Mr j what the situation was and she apologized like crazy sounding really upset that she had to apologize later she wanted a meeting with my parents so she could tell them that I should try to look more my age at that point I told my freind what happend and he put me on his shoulders and walked into her class asking if I was tall enough yet XD he is a senior and the tallest guy in our school he is 7'5 Mr J actually ended up talking to her about organizing meetings without his permission and assigned her to bus duty for the rest of the month" That is her story and every time she tells it she says "And that is how you absolutely destroy a karen "

It's brief, but I love to imagine Company B squirming over wrongful termination. Boss: "Hey... uh, sorry about firing you for what Karen did.." OP: "Oh, it's fine. 1:00 Sounds like what my dad and I experience with a lot of local restaurants we do work for. We're treated really well and there's two or three in particular with owners that are so nice they never want you to leave without having a bit of food.
oh how i hate people like 'jerk' in the first story because i am the one who shows up every time im scheduled and always come in for others when called, and am honest to a fault and work hard and then someone like jerk comes in and i get fired when i didn't do anything wrong. man that sucks especially the fact that anyone could think i did something wrong after all the time i'd worked there. ughh! i know people don't like me much bcz i insist on following the rules and doing things right and that's just not the way of most people. so i get forced to quit. i'm glad jerk got what was coming to her!

Second story the guy should have stayed he had a tool to hold over the heads of management i. E. He could have pointed out that he was doing two people's work loads for part-time job pay.

Oh man...I so would have asked another manager to interview her for awhile, then out of nowhere, I'd come walking in like a ray of BAD sunshine to the interview. "Hello, B#$@! I thought that might have been you when I saw the resume!" :) Good on OP!
