I dont know why but this reminds me of a dream I had about going to a park and catching ducks to keep as pets. My mom said I could only have one. The two I saw nearest to me was an angelic swan like duck and the other duck was a round mallard duck but instead of them being colorful they were black and white (like gray scale) with a red pentagram on their head. I started watching this when the emotional support demon was already a thing and I just got to see how it came about!

I loove the idea of the emotional support demon, there's so many ways you could go with that design. You could get rid of the head and put it's eyes on it's stomach; so it's like a cute, weird little fluff-ball. You could give it horror aspects of a demon like stitches, long tongue, stomach mouths (except you could even give them a cute twist). You could even have them in different colours like purple or orange. There are so many options for a winged little sphere to cuddle.

The origins of Halloween is Samhain. Coming from Ireland it's a holiday on which the veil between the living world and the other side is especially thin and spirits can come into our world. People would put hollowed turnips with a candle in windows etc and dress up so that the spirits would think those places are already taken and move on. I'm not really good in describing it in english since it's not my first language.
