Go Dieppe/Newhaven - very very quiet ferry ports with easy links to the motorways to get where you need to go. Also cheap for bikes and only 4 hours.

Hey! This was mid wales - Llandovrey to Tregarron and Devils Bridge to Rhayader

Fairings make life much easier - nakeds are ok until about 80mph and then it becomes a bit of a strain on your neck, and it’s also a lot colder. Screens help a lot, and some are better than others, but sportsbikes and bikes with more plastic are much nicer long distance. That’s not to say you shouldn’t try a naked bike - they’re a lot of fun!

Hey! It came with elastics that wrap under the seat and can be tightened, it'd probably be really easy to fit some if your sheepskin doesn't come with any.

Yes! The SV650X seat is much more comfortable, I think you can put that seat on the normal SV650
