Nicely done. Obviously your Dad has the notes solidly under his fingers so the only thing I would suggest is picking up the tempo around mm 130 where R indicates poco piu mosso - both solo and orchestra should be crisply accentuating the second beat of these measures - even exaggerating them a little bit, throwing in a little panache and swash-buckling confidence!. Other than that, it's a solidly professional performance that makes me wish it hadn't stopped with the piano's exit in mvmt 2.
+99hoolio Why the rudeness and disgusting picture? MHZ is absolutely right. That part around the end is supposed to be played a bit faster and more rythmically. Criticism is not a bad thing, and it was given with plenty of respect too.
ncredible, I never heard rachmaninoff's songs so clearly, and with great dynamism as here. Effortless and with an unparalleled lightness. The piano has an incredible sound.
I would absolutely love to hear a play through of the entire concerto without any orchestral accompaniment. You have a wonderful way of playing and emphasising the textures and complexity in this piece.
Bob. Just wanted to say, I remember playing Ricochet on the Mac back in the mid-90s as a kid. I clocked the game, and I remember enjoying spending hours making my own levels. I also downloaded the app. You're a legend, mate! Beautiful piano, too!
Good to see people who can play such a difficult piece with so much effortless control. Lots of practicing. Why is this guy not on the concert stage, itunes, CDs, because he is better than what I have heard from most others. Also good to see that this can be achieved by less famous people. Does he play professionally or he is amateur?
Nice, very slow in many parts particularly the waltz but very controlled and expressively done. Btw, I think the final trill as the original intro theme comes back in is supposed to be a D natural not D#. Just something I noticed! :)
I created a midi file and used Apple Logic with sampled instruments. I have a Music Minus One version here boburschel.com/music.html that I think is much better. I really enjoyed listening to your MMO Rach 2, 2nd Mvmt. You are way ahead of me techincally.
@@ValpoKnightTwister haha wow thanks very much! Yes I figured it was logic. Though I do like the MMO once’s (that’s what I used for my recording of rach 2(ii). ) Can I ask did you see my performance via my comment or had you seen it before?
