A quick walk through the only Sleeping Shelter for 33 (15476/40) still standing at the site of the former RAF Peterhead. This type of shelter was normaly at dispersal sites/pens so pilots and aircrew could sleep close to their aircraft in readiness for a callout. It comprised 11 sets of triple bunks. One of which, here at Peterhead, still has the bunk frame in situ. Unsure if that is rare or not. Filmed late summer 2022.
