Hi guys! This is the first time I’ve just sat down in front of the camera to do an impromptu life update. In this Get ready with me video, I basically ramble about all the questions I have on my mind as I prepare to leave for basic training. I know this is different from content I’ve been uploaded but I hope you find it entertaining.

PCS - Primary Change of Station is different than taking leave, so you will be able to move to Fort Bliss after AIT without getting deducted any leave.

Also, if I might make a suggestion, record your Field Band excerpts now and send them off. Maybe you mentioned that being your plan in a different video, so if that’s the case I apologize! I just say this because you will want to have something to compare when you get done with basic and haven’t played a single note in almost three months. That way you’re giving yourself the best shot at having a quality pre-screening submission.

I totally should have done this. 🙃 I have been playing on Dave’s CC tuba but my heading home and his schedule with the horn wouldn’t have worked out (plus it’s honestly a quite difficult round of Music that I wouldn’t have ready now anyway). So I’ll just have to try my best with the Thors they have at the SOM 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you for the suggestion though!
