This fight was a glorified no.1 contender's fight with no help on the undercard and did 1 million ppv buys during a time when MMA was less popular than it is today. Massively underrespected how big this fight was, legitimately one of the biggest fights in combat sports history.
Imagine having the UFC pass and all of that shit to watch ufc fights without knowing the existence of this beautiful man Mr Larone the 🐐 of MMA of RU-vid
For some reason, this reminds me of when Stephan Bonnar asked Forrest Griffin who had the best chance of beating Jon Jones and Griffin replies "the two of us beat him every time"
Rashad's poor chin was always going to be his downfall. Now a gentle breeze would ko him. CTE probably plays a part in why he became a maga Qcumber too.
Rashad and Rampage are among the group of fighters that got me into this sport. GSP, Chuck Liddell, Anderson Silva - I didn't know many fighters before then because I was only like 10, but it didn't take long before I did because of how quickly I fell in love with this sport and I have them to thank. Larone still the GOAT, though.
@@eetfuk3571 I think he could have made it and would have been unbeatable. Wonder why he fell off so fast. I think the whole Jon Jones thing got into his head but who knows.
Didn't rampage yell..there's going to be some black on black violence! Some trash talking sticks in my head...and this rivalry had so many awesome trash talk
rampage had al the power but was way to slow for rashad and in general Also he had somehow a certain lazy vibe when engaging in later fc matches He showed for quite decent freestyle WR offense, slamming, ring control, flurries and Blitzes in Japans pride, in the octagon however he often looked like he was chill with whatever outcome fate had in mind for him. I remember when I almost startled of my cerealbowl at r1ending in the JJones fight, when Rampage threw like.. yk..a combo.
