A level Biology required practical activity (not AS) - Investigating the Effects of a Named Environmental Factor (trampling/mowing/grazing) on the Distribution of a Given Species (Plantains). Using frame quadrats and random sampling.
Nicely done, and very clear, BUT the number of plantain plants in each quadrat is density NOT frequency. Frequency is the number of quadrats with plantains, so if we put ten quadrats down and found plantains in 5 of them the frequency is 50%.
