I don't think they're made as a straight retrieve bait. I think they are made to jerk/pause cadence rather than cast/retrieve. Jerking on a slack line really makes it dart from side to side, and then a slow rise on a pause like a dying bait fish. Personally, I like the original shadow rap vs the shadow rap shad. Good vid.
ah ok reason I ask is I just started fishing and using rapala crankbait.......I didn't realize till I got home that the depth on the rapala I bought is only going down to 12in....lol
can you check to see how long these hold a glow for? charge em up for 2 minutes under uv. then put the lures in a dark place with a camera with a timer on. See how long or if its just a gimmic.
