@@anouk356 actually he doesnt. If you wait till after the end credits in metal gear solid. Ocelot has a conversation with the president at the time. And they reveal that Solid snake has the bad genes. While liquid had the dominant ones. Liquid thought he had the bad ones but he was incorrect.

@@Firan25 Liquid Snake actually had Big Boss' recessive genes while Solid Snake had the dominant ones. But that's the thing, the recessive genes were all the "super soldier" genes that Big Boss had. Liquid didn't understand that his recessive genes were in fact the superior ones, and that Solid was actually "the clone who was the throw away to make the other." The only reason Solid, the inferior clone, bested Liquid(besides FOXDIE) is because Liquid was arrogant, egotistical and insecure about himself. He also didn't have the will and determination that Solid had. Also, the president during MGS1 was Solidus Snake :^)

I'll go as far to solid snake is way inferior compared to naked snake. Even if Solid wins the day because he is the protagonist, naked still have the best game in the series + the best arc. Even when he is shitty, it is a body double so its fine

Nah, it's cuz Sakurai knew Max would one day listen to the codec and that Max doesn't like Sonic. EVERYONE doesn't like Sonic. Watch when the next Sonic game gets announced. You'll see everyone rip the trailer apart. (For the record, I'm taking a jab at Max for thinking his opinion is universal enough to warrant something like a codec entry easter egg in a Smash game.)

I love how gameplay wise, Ganondorf get screwed over by the rest of the roster (except Doctor Mario/Little Mac), yet lorewise, the only people actually guaranteed to be able to even get close to beating him with what they have in-game are Link, Toon Link and Zelda (using her Final Smash). The only other fighters that maybe, emphasis on maybe, be able to beat him, are Palutena, Kirby and Sora.

Let’s write our own! Snake would probably remark on Pichu hurting itself and how stupid that is. Mei ling thinks it’s cute. He would assume villager was some sort of spy with an alias, and has genetically modified trees that grow super fast. He’d also remark on villager’s hollow killer eyes. He would say that Bayonetta is his perfect woman (or perhaps ignore her completely cause he’s too focused on her guns. He wants them.) He gets confused about the difference between Pit and Dark Pit. Otacon gives up and just says “yeah they’re clones.” Probably makes a reference to Vamp when talking about the Belmonts.

Listening to Palutena's Guidance feels like listening to anime voice actors bomb at stand-up, or like listening to a Disney Channel kid's sitcom without the laugh track. It's painful.

I like the Codecs better but Palutena's Guidance is pretty much equal in terms of emulating their source material.
