As a trans guy, im always bewildered by the "you're confused" sorts because i spent 8 years debating if i was trans. i started T after eight years of debating it and i'm happier than i've ever been. also relatable experience testosterone doesn't deal with my periods either (also 23 🤝) terfs and weirdos have such incredible takes that are totally wrong.

As a cis woman who couldn't go to school because I was basically hemorrhaging, up to 20 days a month, and couldn't stand because the pain from my cramps was so intense, like literally shooting down from my abdomen into my legs and numbing them, to the point I needed help getting around, I completely understand not having the time for periods. Also, I'd like to say that people who decide periods "aren't that bad", because THEY didn't experience bad periods make me want to scream 😠...... Sorry for the rant, that "can't be bothered with normal bodily function" comment really annoyed me.

I literally bled for over a month due to hormonal issues and I'm a cis woman. Man, I feel so validated after you talked about the fact that after watching videos of trans influencers talking about their transition experience, it actually made you feel scared/dread the transition process, cuz that’s kinda the same boat I’m in. As someone who’s really afraid of surgery and messing with my body’s hormones, it’s makes transitioning seem scary, even though I know transitioning would make me feel more in line with my gender.

the comment about it being unrealistic that noah bled for two months straight really pissed me off. once i missed one (ONE) of my birth control pills (which was just estrogen, not progesterone) and bled for three weeks. there are a variety of reasons that things like that can happen. it’s not uncommon or unrealistic at all.

As a non-binary person, these comments are disgusting and I'm sorry you get them so often. As a dyslexic person, thank you for reading the comments and explaining words for us. 10/10 comment rating video, can't wait for you to not have to make any more of these

I was trans at one point, I get hate 24/7 all because I have short hair and look like a boy. people still call me transgender. I wanna go up to the class and yell out. "I'M NOT TRANSGENDER, GET IT RIGHT BECAUSE I'M GENDERFLUID!" I have a feeling other people with long hair or short hair have this problem a lot at school.

as someone who has been questioning their gender for years now, your videos have never "convinced me" to be trans. all they do is help me feel more comfortable with the fact that i may or may not be trans. you are a great person and amazing creator, and you help so many people to feel more comfortable with their identity, whether they are trans or not. all of these hate comments are just completely wrong. and i dont even need to say this, but you completely pass!!

I always take Lgbtphobic stuff as a personal attack against my friends, and I doom scroll often not great for the mental health, however I never want to not be furious towards these people. Can't win the war if we don't fight, Rise up allies and lgbt community alike. We can win

I did not realize I was trans until considerably later in life. To give you an idea, I was twice Noah's age at the time. That doesn't make me any less trans. Everyone learns and grows at their own pace, and the information and tools to figure it out simply weren't available when I was growing up. You're ready when you're ready, and your experiences are no less valid regardless of how long it takes to get there.

I had the same problem with the depo shot! I'm 46, identify as genderqueer & pansexual, though my longest relationships have been with men, primarily because I grew up in a time when the worst insult teens could come up with was to call you lesbian or gay! It took a lot of years & inner reflection to come to terms & recognize some of it. So yes I can pass as a straight, cis female, but why should I, when that is not my truth? I have my teenager to thank for helping me to open my mind & through their journey, learn more about the trans community, only to realize that that I wasn't alone in the way I felt as a kid! LOL we think we are teaching our kids, when if we are open minded enough, they can teach us just as much!

I'm a cis woman and I had trouble with an implanon contraception. I bled for 15months solid lol. And I have met many people who have very irregular periods just naturally. It actually seems more normal to me to have considerable trouble with periods.

I was Transphobic until recently, I suppose I'm working on it but I'm proof that not only can you change, people will forgive you. And I wasn't so much "Trans people should burn" as "Trans-people don't exist, they're just confused". When I worked out it wasn't them, but me, and my own long-term confusion, it was like a load of rocks just falling off my back. And asexuality exists and it's not bad. I know that sounds like changing the subject but it must exist because... I could never have watched a Trans-person laughing at Transphobic comments and felt so okay about all of it if I hadn't accepted the truth of my own sexuality. Which, like I said, is not actually Trans but Ace.

In all honesty, knowing you were Trans from a very young age is super valid - My Nephew knew he was gay from a young age as my Sister properly educated him when he began to question himself. For me, the signs were there - When I hit puberty, I wanted my tiddies gone straight away. I didn't understand why, but they felt wrong. I had set my mind on getting breast reduction surgery YEARS before I even knew what being Transgender was.. If somebody had taken the time to see the signs, sat me down and asked me some questions, I could have skipped questioning who I am for years lol, would have saved me a lot of pain. Discovering your identity from a young age is just as valid as figuring things out later in life, for some it simply takes time. And that's ok!

I just got to the part of your video about being called a liar for bleeding for 2 months. I'm Agenderfluid AFAB. I had to go to a doctor and go on meds because I started bleeding heavily for 5 months nearly 6 months without stopping. My mom had periods that lasted months without stopping and she wouldn't go to a doctor. She ended up in the hospital and nearly died and needed 2 blood transfusions. People who think bleeding this long is 'impossible' really need to do some research. Just because it isn't normal or common, doesn't mean it's non-existent.

My sister had irregular ones where it wouldn't appear for a month or two and then appeared for longer than a week. Not everyone has the same damn cycle. Also, that last comment was comedy gold.

Men who say periods are "normal human functions" have never listened to women speak about periods in their entire lives. I've met women who bleed for months at a time because of disorders. I've also met lots of women who reacted badly to new birth control and bled for weeks or months as a result, this is very common. I used to have the sort of painful periods that give you cramps running down your legs or cause your body to contort from the pain for days on end with no sleep. It's totally normal for women to need to seek medical treatment to stop their periods so they can live pain free. I haven't had a period since 2015 and it gives me so much more time to actually live my life rather than be stuck in bed because of the pain. Women go through so many painful experiences and are rarely even offered medication to handle the pain. When you get an IUD placed they shove a metal device through your cervix to place the device inside your uterus. With. No. Medication. It's a sensation similar to the contractions a woman has when she goes into labor. The truth is women have very high pain tolerances and are subject to unnecessarily painful experiences because we're constantly told to just suck it up, stop being hysterical, and we're told it's rude to talk about our "normal bodily functions" so a lot of people are ignorant in these matters as a result of our silence.
