Looks great, Imran's done a great job with this product those batteries are very easy to find replacement for and looks a step up on the spta machine which is pretty much the only budget option in various guises also way cheaper than the flex or rupes great unit for anyone who needs occasional use or is just starting out detailing.
Thanks for these videos; I'm really surprised that it is so large for a "nano" polisher - I thought they would be more like the Rupes iBrid Nano but for the price difference I would probably look at the Flex PXE80 as I know it would last me a lifetime and has the versatility to do so much. I also like to support innovation where possible rather than cheaper copies.
I think this looks decent for the money, body design is better than the others, with the covering over the head being in plastic/rubber. I think I would’ve chose this if available when I got the Vertool Nano. If I didn’t end up with the Flex. I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the Vertool for £220, the stiff battery (like shown) loose speed wheel. Knurled metal around the head, stupid when the idea is to get in small tight places. Also felt quite awkward to hold (too long). After sending the Vertool back I ended up getting the Flex PXE for £340, which although more than I wanted to spend originally, for maybe annual hobbiest usage, it is worth the premium and only £120 more than the Vertool. Used the PXE for the first time last week, and happy that’s what I ended up with. The quick change mechanism is priceless. Switching between 1,2 and 3” polishing a spoiler. The hassle of messing around with 2 spanner’s would’ve been a nightmare to change the mechanism
Good info Jon, I’m going to be in the market for one of these in the new year👍🏽👍🏽anyway do you ever use the radio on your tape measure🤣🤣🤣i got one as an xmas present one year, it’s somewhere in the bowels of my garage
Yes sorry, iv now got my mum in hospital and had to sign the DNR form 2 nights ago, so after the last 18 months with my wife fighting cancer and me not been around in the hospital and now this with my mum it’s sheen shit, please may i have a break
@@andrewsmith7636 Ive not used the hex nano but its gonna a similiar sort of thing. Hey Andrew hang in there, sounds like you have had one hell of a tough time my friend. My words are cheap when I say be strong, but really Im thinking of you right now.
For me, its a nonstarter. The noise seems unbearable (at least how it comes though on camera) and the size is unacceptable for a "Nano" machine. The PXE-80 is a great compact 3-inch "Mini" with the addition of sanding and rotary modes and the ability to use Nano pads for edgework and small areas where you have sufficient clearance. The Flex won't get into the same areas of a Rupes Nano, but neither will this one. If you are wanting to correct every square inch of paint, or working on the kind of intricate cars that require a true Nano polisher...there is no replacement for the Rupes in my opinion. I'm also against these cheap knockoff Chinese machines that only exist by copying/stealing the intellectual property of Rupes and Flex, and undercutting them on quality and price. I understand the need for a budget option for a DIY'er or someone just starting a business on a tight budget. But if you have the means...why wouldn't you want to honor the source? Look at the way Rupes and Flex have consistently innovated and trained us as detailers, they should be rewarded for their efforts. So if you're doing this for money but are strapped for cash, go ahead and get the cheap knockoff machines. But after you've started to turn a profit, get the real deal and keep the cheap machines in the drawer as a backup (or as a secondary machine when you inevitably start hiring employees).
At way less than half the price, probably more like a third of the Rupes, you cannot compare, it’s comparing a Fiesta and a Ferrari. I don’t think there is any question that this is a consumer product and is not intended to be used professionally, where purchasers cannot justify the additional cost, either way, 90% performance for 50% cost is a good deal.
