Razer Ornata Chroma Keyboard Review 

This guy honestly should have way more views and subscribers than he does now. It is very apparent that he puts a lot of work and effort into his channel to achieve the quality he outputs in every video I've seen yet.

Thank you SO MUCH for doing a sound test vs. the Cherry MX Blue switches. I love mechanical keyboards but the 'bottoming out' sound you describe drives me nuts. I'm using a friend's old keyboard with Blue switches while I decide what to buy and this helped so much. Purchased the keyboard after your review, keep up the great work!!

your channel is pretty small but for videos this high quality I don't know why your not more popular great video dude keep doing what your doing.

To be honest, I live in a house with light sleepers. I do a lot of late night gaming, this keyboard has honestly worked well. I love the mechanical "clicking" sound/feel of the keyboard. I have this paired with my Logitech G602 and I have to give props to Razer for supporting us late night gamers who live with family.

Your video production is top notch. I've been looking at this keyboard for a while and you're kind of making me want to buy it more

I bought the Ornata 1 day later after watching this and Im really impressed with it. It was also pretty easy to get use too cause i was using a normal Logitech rubber dome keyboard, This felt like a major upgrade in comparison to my old keyboard i only have 1 problem with it though and that's the fact that without using the wrist rest it slips around my desk quite a bit. Over all this is still a great keyboard and highly suggest it to people who come from using rubber dome keyboards. btw, Great review man!

My gaming mode led doesn't light up but hey what else can you expect from razer

I have this teamed with a Firefly surface and a Deathadder mouse. The lighting effects for all three can be linked using the Synapse. A bit of a pricey package (at least for me) but the effects are awesome. Guy wasn't kidding about the customization possibilities either. Between color, patterns and speed the lighting choices are crazy in number. Good video. Informative but not long winded. Cheers.

Awesome video. Best Razer Ornata video I've seen on youtube yet. Keep up the good work! I have a Logitech Illuminated keyboard for the past 5 years. It's worked great and I love the short and smooth key travel. It has finally broke so I tried replacing it with a Razer Deathstalker Chroma. But, the keys just awful and mushy. So I'm returning it. I am hesistant to try the Razer Ornata because of it being "clicky.". I don't usually like noisy keyboards. How annoying is the noise compared to a standard keyboard like the scissor switch logitech illuminated keyboard I had? Any opnion will help. Was going towards Razer because I also own a Razer Deathadder Chroma mouse. I do about 60 / 40 typing to gaming.

The ornata sounds very similar to an Outemo Blue switch with high quality O-rings (from my experience) and with these O-Rings my mechanical keyboard bottoms out earlier just like the Ornata. So what I'm trying to say is, you can buy a real mechanical keyboard and buy some O-rings and there you go, you'll have a mech kb that sounds like the ornata and feels like the ornata. YOU'RE WELCOME!

Underrated channel

This keyboard looks pretty awesome, but I'm just not a fan of mechanical keyboards because of how they sound when pushing down the keys. Do they make keys to go on this that don't make any sound? If not, do they have any similar keyboards to this but aren't mechanical?

im using a corsiar k65 lux cherry mx red, and i love the feeling of the ornata, i tried it out couple days before, may gonna switch my corsair for the ornata!

Luckily the box this keyboard comes packed in allows you to try the keys so there are no surprises (unless ordered online of course)

Why won’t my razer ortana chroma type, it will only do colors

One question. When you first plug the keyboard in does it automatically start the rainbow background or do you have to set it your self? Pls reply

A similar keyboard to this would be that Cooler Master one and is $50. Honestly I do not think this is $99.

I have a question since I have never used a mechinal keybroad and I ethier wanted to get this or the blackwidow X which would be best and why? Cause I tried out them both in a store and thought that they both felt pretty well

I got the Blackwidow Chroma the one with the Razer Green Switches and it broke some keys are not fuctioning and the warranty has expired. I have low budget now will this be a good replacement??? Thanks for the answer

So I've been a laptop user for a couple years now, I'm planning on upgrading to a PC by Christmas. Never used any type of "Keyboards" before. Which one do you think would last longer and easier to use? Ornata chroma or Blackwidow X Chroma? Thanks! Edit: Does it have a USB cable? I just found out there isn't any plugins apart from USB cables and a headphones plugin
