RC car guys try to fly a HobbyKing Paraglider 

The prop is on backwards. These have plenty of power. I’m sure you’ve figured that out since making the video.

I really wanted to buy one of these...until I watched this video.....

Enjoy watching and recall my first day with this HK c paramotor: 30 or so launches but only 2 short flights. :( A few suggestions since now I can do 9 out of 10 launches. Look like the brake line is too short. Before launch, you must try pull up with no brake and see if the wing come up then try again with brake on and the wing should NOT open. Otherwise you must adjust the brake lines. Go with 4S with stock motor and 1045 or 1050 propellers but easy on throttle when launch or the torque will twist the trike. Lastly it needs 1.7 kg or more to fly well and if the wind is over 6-8 mph, you may want the weight to go up to 2.2 kg. Thanks for sharing.

I have the HK Paraglider as well. Watching this video I can see right away you don't have enough weight. It's too light. Add an extra battery or a heavier one and make sure the trike is slightly nose up when held by the cords. If need be add some weights to the back of the trike. I am using a 3s 5000 mah 50c and added 2oz of stick on weights to the fan guard. Getting 20 minute flights per battery with the added LED light strips turned on. Also make sure your prop is on correctly. I had mine on upside down on the first flight. It was noisy and half the thrust.

You have to be kidding me??? I can’t believe this is an RC??? This thing is awesome! Looks tough to fly though. Looks like conditions have to be very particular. Great video!👍

One of the comments said your prop is on backwards. That may be the case. With full power you should be climbing not maintaining level regardless of the wind. Some said add weight. I think this will just put you in the ground sooner. Check your prop.

Yes, calm days are best, on launch a really firm pull will get the wing through the 45degrees and up and flying ( just like the real size ones )

Looks just like my attempts, My front wheel and fan shroud broke immediately. Definitely looks like you need more weight, I am pretty positive I do as well. Waiting for new props to come in to try again

When your launching you should let it Roll off the ground

Also you can slope sore this paramotor glider by throwing it off the side of a cliff or huge hill with updraft and man it's fun doing that

Hey guys, I'm a new subscriber for Mudboss oval RC, but I'm also a paramotor pilot. Make sure there's minimal tension on the back or "D" lines. Adjust to have a slight amount of drag when cruising, allowing maximum airflow over the canopy. Looks like there was too much "D" line (brake line) tension, creating a stall effect and not allowing the model to effectively gain height. You only want the trailing edge under tension when turning the wing or to flair when landing. Can you flair the wing with the controller? Hope this helps... Just tried to order one but it's on back order. Thank you for sharing this!

Same issues I've had with mine. I gave up on it. I fly my old HobbyZone SkySurfer paraplane with a brushless motor on it instead. Tons of lift and no stalls.

Maybe try a 3s or 4s battery, might give you more power to fight the wind

Looks like you did not set up the brake on the esc. Prop keeps spinning when the power is off.

I bought one about 6 months ago brand new never opened factory sealed box from a rc airplane collector and man it's in prestine condition and flew perfect right out of box on the maiden flight as long as you read instructions and set up correctly it will fly amazingly and do loop and light acrobatics so much fun. I bought a bunch of cool rc planes off him still new in box never opened he loved collecting rc planes I got a old umx space walker 3 channel micro sport type plane and it's an amazing flying plane no as3x and a brushed motor but still has tons of power to do verticals hammer heads and all and only paid 200 bucks for 10 rc planes this plane the space walker and rest are 3 horizon hobby brand new planes spit fire, red tail 1.2 meter for both war birds, and the apprentice s15e the second gen, 2 brand new Cessna 150 by fms the version 2 ones and one is in blue and one is in red beautiful scale looking big cessna's fly flawless as well, 2 horizon hobby balsa ARF planes brand new just built and in ready to fly condition one is a shoestring stunt pilon race with a 46 inch wing span with huge 8s battery and brushless motor and same motor system on the other balsa one which is the sport trainer mid low wing acrobatic non 3d plane, the bigger version from horizon hobby the rare bear pilon racer foamy and a balsa beautiful mustang with gas motor and 86 inch wing span. All in brand new I'm boxes or just built with all new motors and parts and never flown. For 200 hell of a deal I got. And I use to live in corpus Christi Texas well Portland outside of corpus small little town built around a golf course is the whole town and it was windy everyday all year round never a single no wind day when flying it sucked glad I'm back in Alabama on Gulf coast where it's only windy once in a while and not every day corpus was 5-20 mph plus winds everyday

That's a paramotor not a paraglider. There's a difference.
