I love this guy so much . He is so pure and wholesome, helpful and kind, and his videos are so good and there's so much quality. I hope you don't take the haters seriously, they're just ignorant as hell not even watching the videos. Thank you for your videos man:) I really hope you'll continue, I was so happy when I saw you uploaded again. You're the absolute best YTber IMO,my favorite. Thanks for existing!
Couldn't have said better. Haters be haters. It's seems true. If you just say on the internet that you eat meat at least one vegan comes and tries to shame you. Instead of just being a good example and not trying to tell others what to do. Do it passively people. Telling someone he's a jerk for eating meat is not stopping him or anyone from eating meat. Fact.
@@tiberius8390 Yeah people dont have much common sense nowadays huh lol. They immediately get offended if you dont have for example the same opinion as them and they attack lol. He can eat meat and do whatever he wants, aint nobody's business. They'll call you names because you're different from them lol. Anyways wish this guy gets more subscribers and becomes more known :) his character and videos are so good.
Hi Pal!!! i'm watching from Brazil and you gave motivation with your opinions, so don't feel discouraged by people who say shit about you or your ways...!!!! keep up the great work!!!! congratulations!!!!
I am very proud of you and in your decision to walk your own path. Do as you feel and what makes you feel good with yourself 😁 I would be even more happy if you were to upload more videos, missed your content while you were gone. 😔
Mate.. you are a humble, focused, calm and a mature you tuber. You are sharing your experiences and experimentation with nutrition, so if people cannot understand that and hating on you, then they don’t get it. Please keep making your videos.
Hey TrainingPal, I watch your videos because of your way of living. I just agree on it in many ways and kinda try and do it myself although my sports goals are totally different. I am training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and am planning on opening an academy in the future although I know I wont be getting payed well. I just wanted to let you know that when days come when the thought goes through my mind that it probably is a bad idea or I dont wanna get up in the morning or I don't want to eat clean today, you are one of the people I think of to get my shit together. It's really inspiring to see you living so close to what makes you happy although todays standards completely go the other direction. I just wanted to share this with you because I guess you are also only human and a little compliment hopefully helps. Thanks for all the great content. P. S. low carb is going fine for me. But the main reason I do it is because of digestive issues. I eat my carbs around training because I really feel weak otherwise. (calories 4500-5000, 60%fat, 20-25carbs, rest protein. with this amount of calories It's still lots of protein for my size and my 73kilos)
Bro I am following you for some time and I find you simple and original about your approach towards Calisthenics. You helped me a lot. I have learnt a lot from you. Let people say whatever they wants to. You keep doing what you are doing. Whatever works for you is the best for you other things just doesn't matter. Simple as that.
just found your channel recently, but I truly love your honesty and also kind of simplicity! hope you create a lot of videos, although you said it is already challenging for you creating something new in the calistehnics topic. I totally get that, i feel like i have already seen anything, but this makes me even more happy i found your channel! stay as you are and do your stuff how you like and love it!
Welcome! I did feel like I've done everything, but I was in a pretty negative mental state as well. Now I have a lot of new ideas and new motivation, so let's see where it's gonna take me.
@@TrainingPal completely get you and also that it had a negative impact in your health! I'm happy for you that you now have new ideas and motivation! I think of you as a VERY intelligent person, would love to see another video with again a scientific view of calisthenics like you already did but probably a little more detailed :) But no pressure here, just a suggestion!
I'm genuinely surprised at how many negative comments you got in there, I found the initial video very well done and neutral. Surprised people felt like you stepped on their toes. Anyways, you're a great guy and I'm looking forward to seeing your future development in terms of nutrition
Dzięki za dwa ostatnie filmy :) mam bardzo podobną drogę jeżeli chodzi o wzrosty i spadki zarówno tłuszczu jak i mięśni! czas na wypróbowanie wersji która zadziałała u Ciebie!
This was beautiful, everything was based on your own experience and not bullshit. We need more of you, thanks for returning! I'm on day 97 of my fitness journey and have uploaded each of my workouts from day 1 to 90 and the last 7 days just bits and clips of my exercises. Love your channel, this one was really helpful and soothing!
Glad your back. Its sad some people have gone on the attack. I find your training advice very helpful. Im not looking for a moral compass, just good training advice.
One thing I really recommend if you decide to stick to the low carb or better said ultra low carb plan is to read the book Carb Night. There are huge drawbacks to a all time low on carbs that will eventually slow your process down. To counteract that fact refeedings on carbs are necessary once a week to adjust the hormonal changes that will stop you from loosing body fat eventually. The books explains this in greater detail but I really recommend reading it. Ive done this diet for 5 years now and it works great if modified a little. Thank your for the video
Re back acne: I had the same issue from teenage into my 20's. I ended up seeing a top level dermatologist at the hospital, as all the doctors and specialists I saw, could not fix it. The dermatologist took one look and said "washing detergent". I (and he suggested a lot of people) was having a reaction to the soap component in washing detergent. He said to go for the ones marked "sensitive", and recommended "Persil" brand in New Zealand. Hope this helps some people.
I was getting eczema patches and learned it was from my laundry detergent. I've started washing my clothes using Dawn Dishwashing liquid. Best decision ever
hey there, I watched one of your videos the other day, and decided to subscribe and press the bell for your channel. I shall be watching your videos now regularly, and just wanted to say hi. ;-) take care. -Matt-
I'm really amazed! Im doing the exact same thing. Bulked on a vegan diet because I had no money and cut with meat because only that works. Glad to see someone thinking and experimenting keep going. I'm happy you do less videos and enjoy the process a lot more.
Hey, Davie! Great video, I really like your work on this channel. If you'd read and consider my suggestion, try to learn and perform the natural glute ham raise. It's a really great exercise for the hamstrings and It's really hard, so you won't just get stronger, you'll also have some fun.
Man, I was in a calorie deficit, feel hungry and start to loose muscle as well, as soon as I watched your video I cut the carbs, never tried that because I think is really hard to eat enough calories and get energy for an activity person without carbs. Ok start to eat a lot of veggies to get calories and lots of meat, MTFCKERS ONE WEEK AND I ALREDY FEEL THE DIFFERENCE, wont say it is ez, but is working! And thks for that!!!
I'm so glad you tried it. I've been trying carnivore for the last month. And I've never felt better, think you should look in to it if you have digestion issues.
Respect man. Very similar experiences, same acne, same frustration with diets, and probably same approach when facing failures. You are a good person and haters are the proof 💪
Hello. It's so true that you don't have to tell everybody everything you do. I always exercised even when I weighed 300 pounds. You just got to keep your circulation going. For food I never dieted. I ate everything and still loss weight. I'm 224 pounds now and still losing. The body loses weight when it wants to at it's pace. Making your body do what it doesn't want to will get you sick. Congratulations on your achieving your body status. It's hard work, but you did it.
Thank you for your two videos. I have been on almost the exact same diet for about weeks recommended by an on-line coach I am consulting. There are two slight differences, but everything else appears the same: no dairy, no to very limited alcohol (and sugar), heavy on the vegetables, extremely limited on fruit, protein from fish, chicken, and lean beef, and a six-hour intermittent fasting feeding window. I wrote to him yesterday: ". . . I am very happy with my results so far. I have lost three to four pounds so far, down to almost 165, and it shows. I feel good. I have good energy. The first two weeks of the program, I was dragging. That has gone away. I am 95 percent compliant with the diet. My greatest struggle is trying to eat everything within six hours. I intend to keep the diet for life." I had never read about this exact diet before, and on the same day that I report my great results, I come across your video completely by chance. (I was viewing a video from Saturday Night Live last night.) Talk about fitness surrendipity! Enjoy Poland. The grandmother (Helenka Usiak) of my wife of 34 years loved my wife and me so much and always cooked the best Polish food. She is my female fitness hero. A cancer survivor, she lived almost to 100 years of age by walking miles every day well into her early nineties. My male fitness hero is my father, another cancer survivor, who is a vigorous age 91 and swims half a mile every day. These are tough people born and raised in Wisconsin. Need I say more?
Good video. Finally someone who does not force his opinion to others. Eat what you want, train the way you want and enjoy life.. Wish one day I will achieve the balance that you did.
I was in more or more the same predicament as yourself, after hours upon hours and years of training and diets, then I realised it’s the carbs, I tried no carbs and the results were incredible for me, it’s a semi keto diet but probably similar fat as protein, I understand everyone is different but worked wonders for me, now I’m 10% body fat, I don’t do cardio as I have a physical job, I do mixed weighted exercises (3day plan then start back to the first on the 4th day) when I get home from work, I can miss a day or 2 of the weights but stick to the diet, regarding ‘’cheat days’’ I can go out and have a meal with family or friends usually once a week, I usually make sure it mostly consists of protein, for the first 8weeks I didn’t have alcohol, now I do have alcoholic drinks but limit to one evening a week. Only problem when switching to the diet is for the first few days-first week body is struggling due to not having the carbs but afterwards feels great
Thanks for the honesty. Wow 5% carb is mega low. You must be in ketosis then. I am not eating any bread pasta rice or potato at the moment and still get 25% carbs about 200g from fruit and veg but it’s mostly periodised after training. Oh and some of that veg is sweet potato, but that’s as close as it gets to potato. Other carb heavy food is banana but only after training.
Great video. I tried limiting my carbs when I watched your video and I could definitely see the difference. Unfortunately I only did it for a week and even then the difference was noticeable. Hopefully I'll do a month or a bit longer soon but yeah, cut the sugar and eat bread etc. once a week (if you're craving it) and you'll see.
RAGNAR LOTHBROK back at it agin but better than ever, great to see you back dave we were really missing you. i can really agree with your opinion that different diets meet different peoples needs. there is also an interesting meat only diet effects on people and one of the more promising cases of it were Mikhaila Peterson that has alot of struggels in her life but when she switched to only meat her problems went away, thought you might be interested in it. well anyway god bless your soul and only the best for you
What a nice guy! You’re such an gentleman in the way you answer those questions man, hats off to you! Edit: so, are you on a Keto diet? Or do you still strategically eat carbs (rice/potatoes/veggies) pre and post workout?
Great video, man. Congratulations, you found the diet and the workouts that work for you. I love cycling and I'm actually eating a lot of carbs, fruit/vegetables and vegetarian protein so basically my body is like yours when you were cycling even though I'm also working out on rings and calisthenics but I'm just getting thinner and thinner (low fat and small muscles) but now that I see your video, I guess the problem is I might need more protein so I'll be experimenting with that as well. My only concern is cycling... since it's an endurance sport, do you think is possible to be a great endurance cyclist with your new type of body? Can you workout for both cycling without loosing your upper body muscles? Thank you!
Hey man, Love the vids. I'm curious what sort of dishes you put together with your new diet!? I enjoyed your video a while ago that was about your average day on your vegan diet. What about a video about your average day on your new diet? I have tried various different diets over the years for health and body-building reason, but still haven't found what really works best for me. I have considered doing the low/no carb thing, but being on the skinny side have always seemed to lose too much weight when I try it. Also I'm interested in how you work in your intermittent fasting as well. :)
👍🏻 *Under-rated Channel & RU-vidr* The biggest takeaway learned from your results is that *personal experimentation* is the only plan that is guaranteed to eventually work for you. Too often we get distracted by all the _noise_ of RU-vid videos, fitness podcasts, diet articles, clinical research studies etc.. claiming to be the definitive _"end-all be-all"_ solution to getting shredded while packing on muscle. The reality is they all work - for *that person..* You have to commit to the plan of self experimentation if you want to _separate the signal from all the noise._
I would love to see you show some meals you eat. I would like to eat low card high fat as well but I currently don't see how this would be possible for me because almost every meal I eat consists of pasta, rice, outs sometimes potatoes and fruit, so everything consists of carbs...
Very interesting ideas. Definitely worth to try out. (started doing it for myself) My theory is that maybe, for some people, the body is more readily digesting carbohydrate-rich foods and when you drastically reduce that the body is forced to digest more of the protein-rich foods. Just a theory.
For your Acne... i had/have the same.... if it comes back try 'Beifuss' it's the german name for a plant that grows almost everywhere. A Korean told me about this.... you stomp and grind the plant, add a little water and scrub your back with it... for me that helped like nothing else...
Nice transformation video and this follow up video. I Just want to ask if you think that eating fruits will change your results? I am currently doing the same diet, although i do include eating fruits. I am currently 3 days in
I study medicine and have to do a lot of "homework", I still manage to get 4 training sessions, each 1.5 hours, into my schedule, on my off days I manage to do 30 minutes of stretching/flexibility/hanging/mobility work. I've only been trainnig again for 2 years after having had a full year of not doing anything, which set me back to practically zero, said two years ago. I'm "vegan" (8 years now) and eat twice a day, supplement with b12 and omega 3. My diet roughly circles between oats/fruit for breakfast and a beans/greans/rice combo. Also I eat "trash" now and then (not homemade stuff). I like to go out and have fun occaisonally, both alcohol and other substances (not much). I'm 29 years old now. I'm 183 cm high and weigh about 75 kg. I see muscular growth and strength consistently. So I really can't believe it not to be possible to stay on plants whilst becoming stronger, unless you got an actual physical sickness which hinders you in absorbing nutrients. But circling through other diets won't help, then, either. Just wanted to give an opposite view to what dave is saying. There's a fine ratio between overanalyzing what you are eating and not tracking your behavior whatsoever. And looking at youtube and instagram influencers, it seems like they all have very instable personalities (not implying anything). By that I mean people shoudn't give to much about what these people are doing or saying, since the content is the utmost anecdotal and often acompanied, either psychological issues or greed. Though you seem to be an honest person, you also have stated to be a stoic, which tend to be rather depressed and fatalistic. But I also don't know you so fuck me :D I know, I know tl;dr
