Truth He commits his forfeit He acknowledge his "creepiness" to Mourinho and his prediction skill He always has a reasoning even for ridiculous takes (take note FD)
@@jaheimgaucho6952 I got Burnley, Southampton and Wolves right. I stupidly thought Chelsea and United would put up more of a fight and finish 2nd and 4th respectively. And that Everton would get 10th. My worst was thinking Norwich would stay up and manage 16th.
"I am a predictions god" *Gets only two predictions right in his two championship predictions and now has more forfeits for this season than the amount of women he's gotten it on with*
Everyone having Liverpool in 4th, 5th even 6th was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Did everyone just forget we were playing our 6th and 7th choice, championship-standard centre backs and lost over half our squad to long-term injuries over the season?
The sweetest thing of all is seeing other clubs fans (mostly Everton) pinning their shortcomings on injuries this season, after complaining injuries were just an excuse for us last season. Sorry lads, you’ve ruined that excuse for yourselves!
@@doctordice6104 We were top for a while and had opened up a gap, before we suffered the same fate Liverpool did and had loads of injuries to key players. Then the Lukaku fiasco happened, and then the sanctions. If Chilwell, James, and Kante didn't suffer from injuries this season, they'd have been enough alone to see us at least in the title picture to the final few games. Lukaku's issues also started after injury and illness, at which point he had his head turned. We also had injuries/illnesses to Mount, Havertz, Ziyech, Jorginho (who was not the same player when he returned), Azpi, Christensen, Silva, Chalobah, Hudson Odoi, Alonso, Kovacic, among others. The bulk of them happened at similar times to each other, were in positions where other players were already injured, and completely depleted our squad. If we'd been relatively injury free, then people would have been justified in believing we'd win the league, even if we ended up just missing out, rather than being way off the pace like in reality.
We kinda got robbed because of the handball incident im the Everton vs Man City game. If Everton would have got a penalty and scored it, Liverpool would have won the title
I can't fault you for thinking Man Utd would do well, since Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo were for sure exciting signings. It was kind of unexpected to see the team crumble as hard as it did, both under Ole and Ragnick. It was absolute madness to place them above Liverpool tho.
tbf after the previous season everyone just kind of slept on liverpool. while placing man united ahead does look crazy now, if i did also try to predict things early on then judging by the fact that united finished 2nd last season AND also made some crazy signings then i also would've had the same prediction as irish guy, but as i mentioned that it's IF i also tried to predict things, which i didn't because i know that predictions in football would most of the time, if not always go like how they did here in this video.
@@No-mn9do my trick is go for logic and laughs, now I wouldn't exactly say Norwich to win the league, that'd be daft, but as a laugh said Liverpool win all 4, didn't actually think we would because like everyone else was looking at last season
Next season I expect them to finish as low as seventh, and the best they can hope for is fifth. I think the battle for fourth and third will once again be between Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs.
I'm glad that I was one of the only people who kept faith in Palace and said that they would finish 13th. I would've gotten that correct if Man United wasn't Man United.
Golden Rule of modern football. NEVER bet on United to win games, they'll always let you down. That lot of down-tooling frauds owe me a thousand quid at this point.
Patrick Vieira went from losing a derby match 0-7 at home (to Red Bull NY) in 2016 to beating Man City away in less than a decade. True character development. Funnily enough, the RBNY manager was Jesse Marsch!
Thanks for giving us under 3s an analogy we can comprehend, it’s really appreciated. Don’t think I’ll ever watch another youtuber again after such a generous act from yourself.
Fun Fact: Chelsea have dropped 20 points from winning positions this season Another Fun Fact: Chelsea finished 19 points behind Man City What could have been..........
Tbf chelsea were top for a bit until chillwell and James got injured. I could see them liverpool and city having a pretty close race next season excluding injuries for all but hey tahts the game
To be fair, everyone thought United would do well especially after signing players like Ronaldo, Sancho and Varane. Finishing 6th almost defies the laws of physics
Anyone should've expected them to do far worse really when you stop and think about it. The 2nd place of last was a false image, similar to when they finished 2nd under Jose. They were riding their luck, even losing 6 home games. Them finishing 2nd was more everyone else being horrific than them being good. Just adding glamerous names to an already chaotic squad with no defined way of playing and greedy players that play for themselves was only going to add fuel to the fire.
@@Liam-jy7yi I knew they'd struggle. Sancho is a Mata-type possession player with no explosive speed so he was never gonna fit into Ole's freestyling. Varane is crazy overrated, been carried by Ramos for ages. Without Ramos, he was gifting City two goals to send them through to the Quarters Ronaldo's now been reduced to a plain goalscorer. Works when you're on top but you're not, the limited goalscorer's lack of hold up play puts the team on the back foot. That's why United looked a little better with Martial and Dan James, because Martial could hold the ball up and James' pace won a lot of penalties

I've taken a look back at all Irish Guys predictions spanning back to the 17/18 season and by making them flow by matching teams up (so if I started here, Crystal Palace would take Burnley's prediction for next season). Here's how things look: League One: Queens Park Rangers, Rotherham United, Birmingham City, Ipswich Town, Wigan Athletic, Sunderland (Play-off winner), Sheffield United (2nd), Barnsley (Champions) Championship: 24th: Bristol City (Relegated) 23rd: Peterborough United (Relegated) 22nd: Brentford (Relegated) 21st: Wycombe Wanderers 20th: Charlton Athletic 19th: Burnley 18th: Millwall 17th: Blackpool 16th: Norwich City 15th: Huddersfield Town 14th: Cardiff City 13th: Luton Town 12th: Leeds United 11th: Brighton & Hove Albion 10th: Sheffield Wednesday 9th: Coventry City 8th: Stoke City 7th: Reading 6th: Hull City 5th: West Bromwich Albion 4th: Blackburn Rovers (Promoted if Forest win) 3rd: Newcastle United (Promoted if Huddersfield win) 2nd: Bolton Wanderers (Promoted) 1st: Aston Villa (Promoted) Premier League: 20th: Middlesbrough (Relegated) 19th: Derby County (Relegated) 18th: Nottingham Forest (Relegated) 17th: Wolverhampton Wanderers 16th: Preston North End 15th: AFC Bournemouth 14th: Fulham 13th: Southampton 12th: Leicester City 11th: Crystal Palace 10th: Liverpool 9th: Swansea City 8th: Watford 7th: Everton 6th: Chelsea 5th: West Ham United 4th: Arsenal 3rd: Manchester City (3x Champion) 2nd: Manchester United (1x Champion) 1st: Tottenham Hotspur (1st Title)
Forfeits from last year: “If Xisco Muños is still the Watford manager by next may I will drink an entire pint of watered down cat food” “If the hammers repeat this, if they finish inside the top half, then I will personally fly to county Wicklow and spend a weekend living inside a cave” “But ok if Bamford wins the golden boot I’ll sleep in a box outside Ellen road for a week” “If villa dont finish inside the top half without jack grealish I will do an entire 10 minute video standing up to my neck in a freezing lake” “If Liverpool do manage to win the league then don’t worry, I will spend an entire night outside in a sleeping bag covered in milk and dog food” “If he (Cavani) manages to hit double digits in the premier league this time out, I will do an entire apology video to the man wearing a pint of egg yolks on my head” “If jack grealish (for man city) winds up a premier league champions next May, I will get a man city shirt, get jack grealish on the back, go down to the training ground and beg for a selfie” “And if Chelsea dont win the league I’ll eat an entire sheopards pie out of my shoe” Cant wait to see the irish guy do an entire video standing up to his leg in a freezing lake, spending a week in a cave in county wicklow, eating a shepherds pie out of a shoe and begging jack grealish for a selfie
Bringing the daily Mourinho news to the Irish guy 24 hours to go before the European final and as much as Tammy abraham has received praise this season for his 27 goals and rightfully so. I want to focus on another Player who is becoming such a brilliant player under Mourinho. Nicola Zalewski. 19 years old youngster from the academy who played a few games here and there last season but who truly became a rock in the last 4 months when Jose decided to make him play as an attacking left back. He has everything. Speed which makes him often gets the better of his markers. Amazing Vision. Almost never plays a bad pass. He really has incredible maturity in his game and I think he could definitely play in any top squads in Europe. Anyone watching roma daily already know how true everything said about him is. About his season he said " Jose puts the music sheet to us and I just try to go on stage and play the song. I've played games here and there before but he's the 1st one who trust me completely and made me a starter in the last 5 months. Hopefully I play my best game in the final" Those who haven't paid attention watch him in the final I'm sure you will be amazed.
I actually think quite a lot of people predicted Brentford to stay up, they were very exciting to watch in the championship and they have good players at their disposal. I didn't think they were gonna finish as high as 13th tho, but I didn't think they were gonna go down
It's been the video we have been waiting for. At least he got his favorite team Newcastle right(the Norwich one is too obvious). Hopefully you post the video of every Premier League team's rock bottom moment of the season like you do in the HITC channel.
🤣 Such a display of precognition immediately reminded me of Starship Troopers - the scene at the beginning when they do the "Mind Reading"- test. "I see ... ace of spade!" False "You know, statistically speaking you should have accidentally guessed right by now." "So, my psychic abilities are zero and I am unlucky." 😆
You had two right back-to-back predictions for PL in 2019 on a channel that must not be named. So it's not for the first time. Nonetheless, good luck with the table.

Tottenham - Lionel Scaloni 5. Arsenal - Gareth Southgate 6. Manchester United - Luis Enrique 7. West Ham - Fernando Santos 8. Leicester - Gerardo Martino 9. Brighton - Louis Van Gaal 10. Wolves - Kasper Hjulmand 11. Newcastle - Hansi Flick 12. Crystal Palace - Diego Alonso 13. Brentford - Murat Yakin 14. Aston villa - Gregg Berhalter 15. Southampton - Zlatko Dalic 16. Everton - Aliou Cisse 17. Leeds - Dragan Skokic (use the promoted teams if you want to) 18. Fulham/Burnley - Hajime Moriyasu 19. Bournemouth/Watford - Vahid Halilhodzic 20. Huddersfield/Nottingham Forest/Norwich - Dragan Stojkovic
Dyche has never really done a relegation battle but he has shown time and time again he has no plan b we wouldn’t of taken it to the last game with him.
How can you blame relegation on the sacking of Sean Dyche? Dyche had won 4 in 30 games and after he was sacked Burnley won 3 of their next 4 which gave them even a chance of survival.
They (a) had a new manager bounce, and (b) Dyche's Burnley had been in pretty rotten form this season but when you look at overall form, which was continuing, history showed that he may have had a very good chance at stopping the drop. He galvanized that club for about 8 solid years over different periods, fair enough the sacking but he had shown capable of inspiring his teams to get themselves together enough times.
@@stevemorison3787 So? No one can stumble? Imo Dyche had earned enough faith at the club to even be there in spite of relegation and get them promoted again.
Just by the thumbnail, i am laughing my ass off Not because everton can be 7th, but because man united is in 3rd We can't really talk about them when we really don't know what eth will do It's not like ole is there after 2 seasons
Ranking RU-vidrs- Love these prediction videos! I try to gather as many as I can from RU-vidrs and review them at the end of the season and compare against each other. Only have 3 for the premier league so if anybody has more suggestions of other RU-vidrs that do predictions let me know and I’ll include them in my list. For this one I’ve just compared James Allcott, the Irish guy and Spencer Owen. The scoring system is the one always used by Spencer on any of his prediction videos if anybody doesn’t understand it but you basically get one point for every position you are off (Ex. predict City to finish 2nd and they finish 1st- 1 point). The aim is to have the least amount of points. Theoretically if you predicted every team correct you would have zero points! Here’s my review- 1st Place- Spencer- Score- 58 Correct Predictions- 3 (City, Liverpool, Arsenal) Near misses (1 place off)- 3 (Chelsea, Norwich, Watford) Howlers (>5 places off)- 3 (Villa, Everton, Leeds) 2nd Place- James Allcott Score- 68 Correct Predictions- 2 (Burnley, Norwich) Near Misses (1 place off)- 2 (City, Arsenal) Howlers (>5 places off)- 5 (Villa, Everton, Leeds, Watford, Newcastle) 3rd Place- Irish Guy- Score- 70 Correct Predictions- 2 (Newcastle, Norwich) Near Misses (1 place off)- 2 (City, Spurs) Howlers (>5 places off)- 4 (Everton,Leeds, Brighton, Palace)
@@drazic80 I say it's his biased for Mourinho's defensive football. He sees Potter's modern brand of silky-football as "hipster-esque" and something only a hipster manager plays. He's so blinded by his love for Mourinho that he refuses to see that football has moved on from teams just sitting back and parking the bus
Ya the Everton prediction was bad but who would have predicted them in a relegation battle? And I can’t WAIT to see the Irish Guy meet Grealish. Someone is gonna walk away with a black eye
To be fair, not many of us expected to see both Man United and Everton do as badly as they did, and for Lukaku to not challenge for the golden boot. When you think logically, Man United's signings looked exciting, Everton are hardly ever in relegation battles that last toward the end of the season, and Lukaku is a top class striker, although to be fair the striker position at Chelsea seems cursed.
oh that reminds me, what about the Tuchel getting sacked prediction... he is still there is he not? there was something promised as well in that case, i remember that much, but what exactly was it.
My prediction for this season: 1. Manchester City 2. Chelsea 3. Manchester United 4. Liverpool 5. Leicester City 6. Arsenal 7. Tottenham Hotspur 8. Everton 9. Leeds United 10. Aston Villa 11. West Ham 12. Wolverhampton 13. Newcastle United 14. Burnley 15. Brighton 16. Crystal Palace 17. Brentford 18. Southampton 19. Watford 20. Norwich
I thought at this point betting against Liverpool would be a known mistake but nope. So glad all the folks got to eat their humble pie on this lol. And not predicting Watford to go down was such a horrible choice. They and Norwich are the sureshot bets every year really!

I put brentford 12th their is usually 1 team that does really well then has a 2nd season syndrome usually the ones who been trying and failing to get into the prem for years
I've never seen anyone butcher their top 4 predictions even more than just now. I lost it and just laughed at the sight of "1st Chelsea". What the actual fuck haha
I'm a Liverpool fan and I firmly believe that if Everton had been able to back Rafa in the transfer market like they had done the previous few managers then they could well have finished 7th.
The way Burnley have played since they sacked Dyche shows he had lost the dressing room, there was a marked improvement since he left. as a Leeds fan thank God that Newcastle were not on the beach. Played to the death and put their bodies on the line to stop Burnley. They were dead and buried with Dyche, just like Leeds were if they'd have kept Bielsa.
