A similar spin to the earlier Lesnar "What If?" would be 'What if the Minnesota Vikings had given Lesnar a contract in 2004 and he played in the NFL until his retirement?"...his WWE career would have ended in 2004, he might have never done MMA, and he might not have ever come back to wrestling at all once he was done with his NFL career...

This might need its own video, but what if WWE kept the undisputed title as one title in 2002? I'd imagine the champion would still float between brands as before, but how would it have looked only having one world champion? Would Triple H still have his reign of terror, Cena and Batista wouldn't be co-champions, neither would Eddie and Benoit, and so on.

What If Alundra Blayze didn't leave the WWF in 1995? I imagine a feud with Chyna over the Women's Championship (and maybe Intercontinental Championship) but I also think with her in WWE around the same time as Trish Stratus, Lita, Jacqueline, Victoria, Molly Holly, and Jazz that Vince McMahon might never have started the Divas Era. What If there were no horsewomen in WWE for the past decade? I like to think Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross, and Ember Moon would have gotten a bigger spotlight on them in the late 2010s but what about the mid 2010s after Paige gets called up to the main roster and before Asuka debuts? What If Aloisia wasn't fired from WWE and replaced by Kaitlyn? How far would she have gotten pre Divas Revolution and would she have won the NXT game show?

What If The Rock joined WCW in 1996. Credit goes to Dave Knows Wrestling for this one, he did a video on how WCW could have won the Monday Night Wars and said if Dwayne Johnson joined WCW as a member of the NWO, they might have had a chance at beating the WWF, do you agree? What If Ronda Rousey joined Impact Wrestling in 2018 instead of WWE? Obviously she would have been Knockouts Women's Champion and Shayna Baszler would have most likely gotten a bigger push throughout her career, but after Ronda Rousey drops the title, if she chose to return to Impact it like she did WWE in 2022, then what? Also in 2018-2019 Tessa Blanchard was on the rise, what would happen to her if Ronda Rousey had gotten that push instead? What If Cody Rhodes stayed in AEW? In his last promo before leaving for WWE he referenced doing the things CM Punk said he was going to do when he left WWE in 2011. If Cody Rhodes stayed and CM Punk still joined AEW, could he have stopped the brawl after the All Out media scrum? Could he have convinced The Elite & CM Punk to get along? What If Tessa Blanchard joined WWE in 2014 instead of the indies? She most likely would have been a bigger star and had multiple matches with the 4 Horsewomen but what would her career include? Would she be a grand slam champion? Would she have been called up during the Women's Revolution? How long would she be in WWE? What If Batista stayed in WWE from 2010-2014? My only disagreement with Steve’s take is that ECW could have EASILY been a Proto-NXT. Imagine a roster with Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, CM Punk, Rob Van Dam, The Miz, John Morrison, a better booked Kevin Thorne; bring in under-utilized WWE talent and ECW legends to enhance the cards like Shelton Benjamin, Umaga, Carlito, The Sandman, Super Crazy; throw in indie/international talent like the OG ECW who could showcase an actual future in pro wrestling like Bryan Danielson. Hindsight is 20/20, but things could have easily worked out with better booking and better care.

If Lesnar hadn't come back in 2012. Undertaker's streak wouldn't be broken until Wrestlemania 33 where he loses it to Roman. It would've been Cena vs Reigns at Wrestlemania 31 with Seth still cashing in. Roman would turn heel sooner than later. Roman would be a Paul Heyman guy after he defeated the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33. The Tribal Chief would start sooner than later if Lesnar had not return.

At the time, it could be argued that ROH was already popular enough to be the #2 promotion in America, would they have simply kept growing due to The Elite's popularity and be where AEW is now? Would Tony Khan have simply tried to buy ROH from Sinclair back then?

Picking up on WWEECW comment. What if the ECW rebrand never happened? What if the "new" brand that was launched in 2006 was actually WCW? I can imagine that if WWE went with WCW in 2006 instead of ECW and essentially did the prototype NXT model which ECW had in 2009/2010 that it might be more favourably remembered than ECW was (after all 2009/2010 ECW was actually pretty good for what it was, it just wasn't ECW ... and I feel that's fans' main issue with it). I think we possibly still get NXT, but it would come after building some goodwill from fans after a semi-successful run with WCW 2.0.

Funny. ECW Was A Minor League Indy Promotion. It Wasn't Going To Work. ECW Lasted As Long As They Did Because Vince Funded It. ECW Had 3 Wrestlers Worthy Of Stardom-Rob Van Dam, Mike Awesome. & Rhyno. The Rest Of Their Originals Were Small & Heavyweights In Cruiserweights Bodies. Paul Heyman Wasn't Goong To Cater To The Smarks In WCW.

What if Rhea Ripley didn’t get injured and continued with the plan match with Bianca for her Raw championship title at MitB 2022? Would Bianca continue her record reign? Would Liv Morgan cashed in on her recent former partner Rhea instead of Ronda? Would Rhea still have her dominant aura if she started her heel turn losing to Bianca. Would this have robbed both Rhea and Bianca of a potential marquee match at Wrestlemania.

What if Austin were good to go for WrestleMania 2000? Would we have gotten the Austin/HHH/ Rock triple-threat match that we were cheated out of at Survivor Series or would we have gotten Rock/Austin II with Rock going over Hogan/Warrior style? What if The Rock dropped the WWF Title to Chris Benoit at No Mercy 2000 (or maybe Survivor Series) instead of Kurt Angle? What if we actually got Triple H vs The Rock one-on-one for the WWF Title at WrestleMania 2000 with Rock going over? What if Mick Foley were the true Corporate Champion feuding with People's Champion Rock? What if Rikishi wasn't the one to run over Steve Austin? Who would you have a culprit instead (me personally, I think they should have eliminated the middleman and just had it be Triple H running over Austin)? What if "Shawn screwed Shawn"? What if Glenn Jacobs (who had the exact same hairstyle and bore a remarkable resemblance as a result when he played "Isaac Yankem D.D.S.") had been packaged as Sid Vicious' long lost brother before being Undertaker's brother?

What if Roman had continued down the Vince path after the Dog Food match instead of demanding a Change in direction? What does Modern WWE look like with Big Dog Roman instead of Tribal Chief Roman?

First thing, I don't think we have any of the current titles. No "Undisputed" title, since they were never unified, just the original Universal and WWE titles. I also don't think they rebrand the women's titles, or unify the tag belts either. As for the actual creative side of things, Roman would have taken those first few pandemic months off anyway because of worries about his health, and I wouldn't be surprised if that break 100% of the time makes him think more about his character. In the scenario where he comes back as bland babyface Roman, I think the start is the same. Return at Summerslam, win the title at Payback. I don't think he goes on anywhere near as lengthy a run, especially because of the reaction he'd get upon the return of fans. I wonder if they'd have had Edge win the belt in late 2020, then have Roman get a shot by winning the EC match, leaving perhaps Bobby to win the Rumble and challenge Drew at Mania. Assuming all the stuff about Vince leaving still happens, I think HHH turns Roman heel, because he is able to recognise just how well it works (Rock, Cena, even himself). Overall, the Bloodline wouldn't exist, the interest in WWE would be a LOT lower than currently, Sami doesn't get his superstar push, and we probably have at least another 2 Brock title reigns

@@ryanwinter1562I don't think Edge would win the title off him in 2020 I think Brock Lesnar wins it at Day 1 whether they have a match or not, then Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble and defeats Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 37. I also think The Bloodline still forms after Triple H turns him heel, it's just without Sami Zayn ever apart of the stable.
