REACTION to MONSTA X - TRESPASS, RUSH & ALL IN MVs 

For All IN -Hyungwon and Minhyuk story is either they have come back to life or accepted death together. Hyungwon’s the son of a man who punishes him for acting out through physical abuse, while Shownu is stealing money to pay for his father’s medical expenses 🤷🏽‍♀️ This is all i know 😂 All In , Fighter and Beautiful are all connected and there are so many deep theories you will be surprised. Monsta X MVs are like this mysterious & creative and different 🥰

All In is actually my favorite music video from them and I have a tattoo inspired by it. (It’s the flowers from the mv) While ambiguous it is implied that Hyungwon and Minhyuk are in love. All in was released on International Day Against Homophobia and it's the first part of a trilogy that spells out LGBT (Lost, Guilty, Beautiful, Trilogy)

All in is such a masterpiece of an mv, seriously one of my favourites ever❤ React to Find You as well another underrated masterpiece.

When you have a chance, you should totally check out some Seventeen/Monsta X "Monteen" moments. Their friendship is pretty wholesome. Both groups debuted within weeks of each other and for the first few comebacks, being rookie groups, they had to share waiting rooms a lot during promotions so they grew close to one another. Even though most Monsta X members are technically older than Seventeen, they seem to treat each other equally.

I feel like when Monsta X first debuted, the company seemed to try and give them a much harder/edgier "bad boy" vibe that they had in Tresspass and a bit in Rush. But I think they quickly realized it wasn't really them and toned it back. They still have a darker image than like Seventeen or Astro but they're definitely more refined nowadays.

All In is easily one of my favorite kpop MVs or just music videos in general, tbh. The entire The Clan storyline is extremely esoteric because there's basically nothing explaining what's actually going on between the teasers and the mvs, but you can start to pick out common themes and stuff between the two, and people have made MANY super good plot outlines on them. I know when I first saw this mv I was stunned and I've watched it so many times over the years. The Hyungwon/Minhyuk storyline gets me every time, especially. It's pretty tragic, though if you look closely at the end, you can see Hyungwon's hand squeeze Minhyuk's when they're in the tub together. :)

Awww what a great throwback 🥺💙 monsta x debuted with a bang and have never dropped a bad song, like how is that possible!!! Plus the MVs are sooo fun!!! All In was honestly SOOOO groundbreaking, it brings up topics like oppression, police brutality, cults, lgbtq, and family abuse..and I couldn't be prouder. The story is only as complicated as one makes it, but there are many threads and blogs that explain it! Monsta X are truly boundary breakers in the kpop scene^^

There's alot of theories for the All in MV, for the Minhyuck and Hyungwon dating, and when Hyungwon was hit minhyuck wanted revenge, so he burnt down that building, however Hyungwon thought that Minhyuck left him so he tried to kill himself, and that thing that Minhyuck poured in the tub saved him, Minhyuck climbed into the tub, I don't remember the complete reason but it's either he wanted to spend time with Hyungwon in his last moments or he too was going to kill himself for Hyungwon. Anyone who sees this comment please add on or correct me 😊

I recommend watching 'All In', 'Fighter' and 'Beautiful' in sequence. The stories are connected, and so well executed thematically, musically and cinematically. What I like about Monsta X is their music is strong enough not to require an MV to support it; but, my g*d their MVs are masterpieces. I have been listening to their music on repeat for a while now. They don't disappoint. As you say, they've evolved over time, so I'm so glad they won their first award for Love Killa today. Happy Monbebe over here...

Im gonna recommend a video called monsta x being socially aware or someone along the lines of that. I still remember watching it for the first time and my love for them just doubled... didn't know that was possible but apparently it is

trespass, rush and hero was their beginnings and their first 2 eps where they did a boycrush concept with hiphop(? and you can notice a change in the mvs when in 2016 they came back with All in, they started a storyline, personally I love All in and I think it is one of their best comebacks, you got right the romeo and juliet thing!!

the amount of homosexual energy all in gives me both the song and the MV ugh truly a masterpiece. there are just some songs that are made for the gays and all in is one of them it just makes me feel “yes i do like girls” for absolutely no reason. I don’t really understand the story line but I do understand that my boy hyungwon is gay 😌

Trespass and Rush are such fun Mvs to watch and All in, as you said, is very captivating. All in is one of my favorites title tracks , this song is a bop. I would recommend you to watch their selfcams, those videos are so adorable, you'll love it. Great reaction :)

BTW, that's Eunseo from WJSN in "Rush" 😄 the hip-hop almost bboy sort of concept they went for when they debuted is really cute for me. While we don't see them doing that now, it still served as a good foundation for their signature sound. Glad you enjoyed all three!

I was feeling very anxious but watching this made me feel so much better, so thank you ❤️ And about the recommendations, I think you haven't watched 'stuck' and the music videos for their English and Japanese releases (play it cool, who do u love, middle of the night) (spotlight, livin' it up, x-phenomenon) plus they have Japanese versions of some of their title tracks too. Dance practices and funny moments would be great options yes. They also have selfcam versions, covers (dance and vocal) and mixtapes (minhyuk and jooheon's 'ongshimi', jooheon and changkyun's individual mixtapes and they have one together too called 'be my friend' but you should know beforehand that it will make hugely soft. And ofc iconic performances such as mama 2018, versace on the floor, jh and kh's mirror cover and concert performances, wonho and shownu's mirror, hyungwon and changkyun's how long cover, lost in the dream, etc. It's a lot, I know, just giving you some ideas so you can choose what to do

Love watching your reaction when you go back to Monsta X early days you have so much more to go back on more amazing songs and MV I prefer the dance routine of All in personally if you can react to them singing Vasace on the floor you see their amazing vocals and you will love love love Joohoney vocals xx

I always recommend Stuck. Its labeled special clip but whatever. I also like Amen's special clip even though it's only a teeny section of the song. Also 100% do the self cam mvs. B-side songs and them just goofing around. Its the greatest.

You are fast turning into one of my very favorite reactors! You are really genuine and I love watching you fall in love with Monsta X. Every new Monbebe is precious and welcome! I can’t remember everything you have watched so far but I am pretty sure you haven’t listened to Spotlight yet. This MV is one of their Japanese releases but they also have a Korean version of the song which is the one on my PL. This is one of my go-to songs when I need an energy infusion. It belongs on everyone’s workout favorites! Also, the MV is just beautiful to watch without any story you have to figure out! You can just enjoy the lighting, the choreography, and the music. I will look forward to seeing what you think of it!

Welcome to the family. Been watching your reactions for a while now and I love your reactions, not only to MX. You can probably check out some of their special stages like Jooheon's and Kihyun's "Grandmother Bird" which is what Jooheon wrote for his grandma who died before she can see him debut. There's also their performances on Masked Singers if you like and some covers they did of other songs eg. "Mirotic" (IM said he was more nervous performing this than his own debut song bc this song was a famous one from a legendary boyband)

I know... I love All in too. such a shame it didn't go anywhere. I wish they would at least make a Webtoon out of it. since my bias is Minhyuk, I know this story was super emotional for him, they were talking about it somewhere and he sounded like he was holding back tears. Just a random fact for info, the confused looking guy who goes into the petrol station in Rush is Giriboy, he either wrote or produced Rush, hes a famous rapper in his own right, also under Starship i think and if you have watched No Mercy you will have seen him as a guest judge and challenge collaberator on that!

I've always loved all in and the whole.story line around it a lot. The song is one of my favorites tbh and even though I don't understand the whole story line of the clan series its so interesting to read theories about it. Its a really complex story too since it connects many mvs and vcrs. The theory im going with is the one with Jooheon as the leader of the group and them living in a oppressed society while everyone has an individual regret or problem. Also they get high together on some weird flower and give major gay vibes especially Minhyuk and Hyungwon and Changkyun and Kihyun which is kinda cool ig

Baby monsta x!!!!! You can see in trespass and rush they went with the bad boy comedians route and then in all in they started to change direction. More dark and story driven. My take on the mv....emmm...there is oppression from the dudes in black against the people. Hyungwon dad is one of those, gets beat up, minhyuk wants revenge, shownu dad is sick, joohoney helps him to robe money but it's to late so he burns the money and hospital. All of them doing hocus pocus from a blue flower, the same hyungwon give to that dude. And then I think they drink that potion and all of them go to a new place with that blue blob in the sky. Maybe they look for salvation there. Maybe they achieve it cause we see hyungwon moves his finger, or they get traped there, like in a coma. I'm sure there are some grammar mistakes in what i wrote, but i cried so much that my head hurts and I come to youtube to cheer myself up and this is the first video that popped up, so I'm not looking for mistakes and correct them XD

I super love these songs, I'm not much of a fan now but during their early days, I was praying to every God for their first win. Still can't believe All In has no win.

ok so I'll try to explain a bit about All In theories, if I'm missing something or get something wrong feel free to add and correct me y'all !! we have different storylines in a group of friends ("the clan"), they're all connected by the blue flower. It is safe to say that the blue flower has curative/magical properties. Hyungwon: has an abusive father (theories say he's a religious figure because of the cross on the building), and has a very strong bond with Minhyuk (maybe that's the reason why his father beats him). Minhyuk: he's the one who seeks revenge for how Hyungwon's being treated. He, Changkyun and Wonho go to Hyungwon's father religious headquarter and set it on fire. When Minhyuk goes back to Hyungwon, he finds him dead in the bathtub, he probably coudn't bear the situation anymore or thought Minhyuk left him so killed himself. Minhyuk then proceeds to pour the blue flower extract in the water and lays down with him, waiting for him to come back to life. At the end we can see Hyungwon tightening his grip around Minhyuk's hand. Shownu: he has someone he deeply cares about that's very sick (he's by his side at the hospital), money could help save this person, so Jooheon provides him with a gun. They then go and rob a bank (I'm not sure it really is a bank), in order to have the money to cure that person. We later see how Shownu is too late, when he reaches the hospital the bed is empty, that special person is already dead. He doesn't need the money anymore so he burns it. To ease his own pain, he drinks the blue flower extract. Kihyun: is shown very little, but from what we can see he's struggling with a physical injury/illness (we can see him trying to run towards the end of the video, practically dragging his own body along the way), that's why he resorts to using the blue flower extract as well. In general we can see the situation being pretty bad, civilians being mistreated and threatened by the authorities. Maybe when we're a fan we end up all soft watching them w/o even noticing? >_< Trespass has a prison break version too btw and Rush is so much fun! I can't dance but those two are the ones I like the most to dance. And by dancing I mean moving my arms like in the chorus .-. There's so much to recommend so idk where to start haha but the self cams will definitely make you even softer >_

its very gay :) there are theories on all the vids in the trilogy are referencing lgbt, part one lost, L, part two guilty, G, and part 3 beautiful, B, and the T is trilogy. the imagery in this one and fighter could fit with that, this one referencing society's disapproval stuff, and the next sort of referencing conversion therapy or something i guess. beautiful is more so a dance vid, but it could be acceptence it's certainly referencing imagery from the other two while being "more positive". they are all connected and i reccomend them all :) all in is my favourite in the trilogy, but fighter is really interesting, and beautiful is a bop. not ure what the flower they keep eating means, but drugs? idk
