More info on Reason Electric Bass: www.propellerheads.se/products... Artist/Producer Adam Dorn (aka Mocean Worker) shows how to create real, living basslines using the Reason Electric Bass ReFill.
@PropellerheadSW- thanks for answering. I learned from someone on the propellerhead forum that I had to lower the octaves on my keyboard until I could play all of the slides, etc.
@ronbrotu I think (though I don't have this refill loaded in front of me to check) that the ghost notes, slides, etc are all just on keys above the normal range of the bass.
It is not that hard, it is just "layering" notes, this refill is meant to be for those who doesn't have a real bass or when you need a song done in a short time and your bass player is not near, this refill helps a lot, really a lot.
I can play the different basses but I can't play the slides, ghost notes and etc. It seems like there is no auto mapping for my master keyboard, or am I doing something wrong? Can you help me?
All these people that keep saying "just play a real bass" - I have heard some dumb-ass comments in my life but that has to be up there with the best of 'em. I won't even bother saying why, if you have an IQ higher than a peanut it shouldn't be hard to figure out
not only does the real bass sound better but it's easier and faster to just play the bass. Even if you don't know how to play bass it would a better use of time to learn that than to learn this. Btw, I'm a reason user and I like it but no need to make things harder
This is the only refill I regret buying. Thought I would get some useful tones, but not so much. Easier to play a real bass and eq it properly...even if you have to learn how.
