Now see that's an actual sandwich recipe. As an homage, I'm gonna go make a sandwich with chunky peanut butter and a pineapple jalapeño jelly I happen to have in my fridge. RIGHT NOW.

That sounds great. One of my favorite toasts is peanut butter, crushed red chili pepper, lime juice, and curry powder. Your sandwich sounds very similar, and I adore grilled pineapple, so I know it's going to be a winner at my house. The next time I have Gochujang in the house, I'm making this!

The gochujang was SUCH a good idea. Would absolutely be trying this if I weren't allergic to pineapple.

I have that Searchlight cookbook and it has a few gems including two recipes for squirrel. One of the other more unusual sandwiches is the beef raisin. And the peanut butter sandwich includes green pepper, celery, Tabasco sauce and a mayonnaise dressing.

This is a home run. I swapped the gogouhang (sp?) out for the thinnest possible schmear of Marmite and it was delicious!

Just tried a version of this, although I didn't do it on brioche (forgot about that part and didn't have any). It was delicious! Would defo make again (and try on brioche). The gochujang was an excellent touch. I tried a bit of a plus up adding some left over duck from Chinese duck pancakes, which was good although probably not specifically better than the original.

Thanks Barry! Hey have you ever seen this "bologna bowl" recipe? There's a few videos about it, its just two pieces of bologna, some cheese, and an egg in a bowel and microwaved for 2 minutes or so. Then you can put it on bread...it's not that interesting as a sandwich I guess, but the preparation is pretty dang easy, I've been making them since yesterday and they are very good.

Hey Barry! Can you try the Sinner's Sandwich sometime on the channel? It's from the video game Deadly Premonition and consists of three ingredients: turkey, strawberry jam and cereal (not named in the game, but I use Chex since it's what it looked like to me). Sorry if I double-posted this, but it looks like my last comment might have been autofiltered since I sent a link so I'll omit it this time.
