So, a long one yet again... lol BUT I get DM's and questions here asking about similar things so just thought other people might want to hear the answers as well! Just one slice of background. The most recent year of avid protective styling that I reference started May 2018. I did a bit more than a year but I do have to say that twisting my hair like this really helped during that time. When I said I did twists for six months in my last video, I didn't mean I wore my twists for six months straight! LOL My hair would have locked. But this, as well as my last video encompasses what I would usually do week to week with my twists.

I’m going back to this routine of wearing twist 24/7. I recently perfected my diy cream/custard so I’m ditching the rest of my products and not buying the rest of the year.

That is how I retwist my hair and remoiturize it. Do you retwist your hair every week? I love wearing my hair in the twist out. Because I notice growth and my hands are not in my hair. I use castor oil, grape seed oil and almond oil. I deep condition every time I wash my hair and sit under the dryer.

Thank you. Yes!!!!!!!!! that is what I do. I retwist every week as well. Working on growing my hair longer. When I had a perm my hair grew. But when I went natural I dealt with bald spots in the middle of my hair. I started using this ginger and coconut treatment. And I have seen a difference. I also started messaging castor oil in my scalp every night. And I have seen a difference there too. Thank you for your video. Love and Light

GORGEOUS HAIR! ssks are the DEVIL, I love my curls so much so I cant keep my hands off of them but I am ready for some nice length so I will try to keep my hands out my head for a week at a time in twists. Thanks for the info.

Sunny ISle Jamaican Black Castor Oil is BAE, be careful buying it from places like Marshal’s and TJ MaXX they tend to sell items close to expiration or expired. You can get the same size same price DIRECTLY from them and the company supports local women. Just some info, it’s why I buy their oil over anyone else’s plus it’s just the oil 💙

R Blair here’s the thing it just tells you how long the product has it can say 6 mons 12 18 bottom line the company knows the actual dates it doesn’t physically say that on any packaging. There is coding that tells them when to pull something. I learned this when working Part time at Bed Bath and Beyond and we had a health and beauty section. Once I learned that I stopped trying to find a deal and started paying more attention to getting what I was paying for. I stopped buying my favorite Indy brand from Target in my area because they wouldn’t pull it when it was time. I just said it’s not worth paying for something that is already degrading and I paid full price. I can order directly from her and know the quality will be on point. The things you learn on our hair journeys . I just like to pay it forward and share what I’ve picked up along the way. Enjoy the Journey, and as Queen said.... So i absolutely can not leave anything on my scalp, products and oils will irritate it. So when i moisturize my hair after washing it ill put product on my roots and then down the hair shaft. I only use shampoo when i have a lot of build up. How you i keep my scalp moisturized for long periods of time without having to wash every week?
