I just recently discovered the Dickey Method. Just like when I was relaxing my hair, now that I’m natural, I’ve reached a plateau with growth. It’s healthier and longer now than ever since I’m natural, but I think I’m stuck because of dryness. My hair is not getting the moisture it needs, so I’ve been binge watching videos of women who are using this (Dickey) method to hear their thoughts and see their results. I’m convinced this is going to take my hair growth and health to the next level.👍🏼
Wonderful! I am on a 30 day hair wash daily challenge, anx on day 2 as well for cowash daily 4 days a week, and also putting tea in air and 4 days a week a rice water rinse.
I use sulfur 8 light grease to fight against my deficiency and anemia. Even when I stress, a lot of hair doesn’t come out like it used to. The grease helps to thicken up my hair
My hair broke off in 2020 after I grew it so long and beautiful. Didn’t know why that was but then got diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency iron deficiency folic acid deficiency and magnesium deficiency all of these together breaks off my hair
Also , sometimes if you're allergic to something, like a food could make your hair shed as well. You would have to monitor what you're intaking in your body. Also , not sure if you do already , but drink alot of water, eat fruits , and vegetables. THis is if you do not already . I found these even besides the hard water that my intake of certain foods affect my hair shedding and growth . Hope that helps !
Just wanted to give this tip. My daughters have really long hair as well so I no longer wash loose hair. After the pre pop I only wash and condition her hair in plaits ( not too tight thought). Then I blow dry or style from each plait while the others stay stretched. This has cut down the time drastically!
Do have a shower filter that's what I utilize to combat hard water. I understand you, I have experienced a similar situation. Continue with iron vitamin D3+K2, multivitamins, and shower filter.
I'm going through this at the moment and also have been dealing with significant hair thinning since 2021. I've bought a shower head filter but the water is so hard where I live, it's welded the old shower head on I'm not strong enough to remove it. Now I've seen this video I'm determined to get this filter on and increase my iron intake. Thanks for helping me feel not quite so alone and I hope you see great improvements 🙏🏾
I never used added hair. The fear of rashes and monitoring my growth is why. Health improvement has definitely helped me grow my hair faster than before.😊
I experienced COVID that lasted a good 11 days. I thought I was ok but I started to notice a loss of more hair than normal. After doing some research, I am realizing it’s from the strain my body had during that time and also the shampoo that I was using. So I started doing yoga and meditation daily and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And today I don't face any hair fall. Thanks for this video! I feel so much more at peace.
Hi 👋🏾✌🏽😊… I’m new to your channel. Thanks 🙏🏽 for sharing your honesty and your hair growth experience. I’ve been natural for two years. I did a complete chop 2yrs ago. I believe I have 4c,low porosity hair.. The front of my hair is a little past my face. The back is full and is down to my mid back. This is without blow drying. Sending you Love 💗,abundance,Life ✌🏽, positivity, and,Light💡…
How long was it in between washes that you had that big ball of hair? I understand the struggle of thinning and retaining length. I think it is just having fine hair. I know the struggle.
I live in Florida. Hard water is definitely a problem. I use cocaknotz hair products. She has a RU-vid channel (cocaknotz) and she talks about using her products to help with hard water. I love her products.
Wow. I just watched the whole video and girl.... 👀 , I went through the same exact thing. Wow. It's bringing me bk. I just made a post so you can see my before hair and my now hair😢. It's so sad but it got aloooottt better. I use 6 gallons of water. I bought a big black bucket from Amazon and wash my hair in the tub now because I miss washing my hair in the tub. Long story lol. I will make a current video updaing everyone on my new hair, post well water routine and me growing out my hair. Stay tuned! 😉
Girl, welcome to the hard water club. I am a youtuber as well and I was documenting my hair loss journey and associated it with me stress shedding but I was wrong! I was loosing hair because of my water. Now I use distilled water. 6 gallons of water. It's on my channel so you can take a look. Good luck girl! It's been 2 going on 3 yrs and I am still growing out my hair. It got a lot better though so keep hope alive! 😊❤️ O and everything you used, I used. I still use distilled water till this day and I invested in a portable shampoo bowl (I am also a hair dresser so I had no choice) but if you need advice, please feel free to ask. I get it girl.
Thank you for this video! I never would’ve thought it was the hard water. I think the water in my area is hard as well. Please continue to keep making these informative videos. You are the beat!!
The twists themselves are what's killing your hair. You need a new protective style and you have to switch up the protective styles. Get some Aphogee, good light moisturizer and keep your hair in a satin bun and 2 braids for 3 months. Trust me.
I'm so sorry you had to go through this...... I watched some of your videos in the past and I really liked. Your hair will recovery. I have faith...remember God spoke, He directed
