Thanks for another great video and for sharing your experience. I never rlly knew there was an addiction side of youtube with all these great people who I can 100% relate to. It's comforting being able to hear others and what they've dealt with concerning addiction and relationships. You seem like such a cool person who's been through difficult events and the fact that your still pushing forward with spirit intact is admiring. Your friends and family are very lucky to be around you.
I’m glad I’m able to find the strength the share my experiences with others! I didn’t know there was a recovery community on RU-vid until I met Lucas. It helped him so much making videos and I never understood it. Now that I’ve started doing it myself, I get why he enjoyed it so much. I have been through so much but I don’t think there’s anything worse than losing someone you love 💔 Thanks for watching my videos and I’m glad you are enjoying them ☺️

It’s a hard thing to do and I’m glad I never gave up on Lucas. I was there for him until the end 🥺 there’s so much more to talk about on this topic and would like to make a part 2 or something in the future.

Leah, it is impossible to remain ideal when it comes to dealing with an addict you love. I can feel that you are being hard on yourself.. wishing you did more. Truly, the way you loved him was nothing short of beautiful.. and the only part of this that brings some small comfort when it comes to the massive loss of Lukey.. at least he experienced true love in his all too short life. 😔 There isn't a person on the face of this earth who could state that they remained constantly patient, agreeable and loving throughout the trauma that is of loving an addict. And often it's just about getting through another day or night.. as the unmedicated, scared and long suffering loved one. If it's any small consolation to you.. when i reflect on my loved ones and their responses to me when i was in active addiction.. i know that every part of it came from a place of love and fear. You have a very pure, gentle and healing strenth about you.. and i feel like those qualities are going to be a big part of your healing journey.. and your future happiness and success ❤️🩹
