I'd love to hear what you have to say in this course, especially seeing that it's affordable for me, and I was about to get it. But I had to stop myself. To be honest, I read just too many books, seen too many videos, blew too much money trying to talk to people online. Whatever it was, nothing had a lasting effect. I should fend for my own, may be it will work.
Hi Noah, it's been a while! I am glad you are putting out more online content! Any chance that you do a series on how to heal anxiety/depression? Thanks and all the best!
I would like to invite you to join my upcoming 2-week online journey, "Release The Blocks To True Self-Worth". It starts September 12th. In this journey, I will support you to release and heal 12 common beliefs that prevent us from living with true self-worth. If you want to learn more about it, you're welcome to click the following link: noahelkrief.com/release-the-blocks-to-true-self-worth/
Warren Buffett - "I was at Harvard giving a talk a while back, a guy came up to me and said "I went to Stanford for my undergrad, and now I'm here for my postgrad because I thought it would round up my resume really perfectly if I want to work for a big management consulting firm." I said, well is that what you want to do? He said, no, but that's the perfect resume. And I said, well when are you going to start doing what you like? He said, well I'll get to that someday. I said, well you know, your plan sounds to me a lot like saving up sex for your old age, it just doesn't make a lot of sense. I told the guy, go to work for whoever you admire the most and you can't get a bad result, you'll jump out of the bed in the morning and you'll be having fun." Also Noah, what is your opinion on stock index funds? Great investors like Buffett have said that a simple S&P 500 index fund will beat any actively managed funds where managers are actively picking stocks to try and beat the market. You studied finance, what's your view?
To be a publicly traded company, it is a legal mandate to put the shareholders as priority. This means that the employees, customers, and environment are less important than the generally already wealthy investors. I don't want to put my money in a system that incentivizes non-ideal treatment for employees, customers, and environment. :) So I don't ever have any money in the stock market.
