He dodged a bullet. This opens the door for someone mature that he can build a life with.

She ‘s talking about “I did not want this to happen” So that means she already knew he was not the child’s father. So damn cruel!!

I knew a guy like him. He was excited to have a baby, the girl wanted a gang banger and was trying to tell him the baby wasn’t his AND wouldn’t let him see the baby. He was working for me at the time and I gave him brand new clothing for the baby as I had just had one and if you have had a newborn you know there are some things you buy that the never get to wear...anyway she talked down on him for working minimum wage job and excepting 2nd hand clothes. I told him to go put himself on child support because they would order DNA and he has a right to his child. Fast forward a few years I saw him working as a security guard at the mall. He was so excited to tell me he now has custody of his baby, is married and they had a baby together as well. He told me thank you and showed me how he had his baby’s name tatted on him. She is now in child support arrears to him. #blackdadsmatter!

Hearing about his sister committing suicide almost made me break down.

Damn….my heart shattered for him. Some men no matter their faults, want to be a good father. Best father he could possibly be. He was robbed. I pray he finds that light and strength to keep moving forward doing well for himself

I feel so sorry for this man, my heart goes out to him.

Seeing his pain after finding out the verdict really hurt my heart. I hope that he finds peace and Rest In Peace to his sister🕊❤️‍🩹

As a black man, I thank you Judge Mathis for bring light to the truth that many young brothers find inspiration and purpose through the birth of their children.

This was painful but needed to happen so many people assume black men are bad people and deadbeats when it’s a lie a big lie I see amazing black Father’s every day we need to drop the hate if a person does wrong it’s not on his or her gender or race just them Hope he living his best life

God be with him…I felt his pain through the phone! I pray that he does right & doesn’t get so upset that he goes back to doing the things that caused him to have a record. Kudos to this young man for stepping up and wanting to know the truth! My heart went out when he left the court room devastated! This woman was just playing games with her child and its not fair to the child to not know who is their father.

I had to watch this twice....this whole episode had a sober feel to it. From JM broken voice when delivering the results to the moment the man's heart literally broke into pieces when hearing the bad news. I pray this young man found peace/happiness 🙏🏽 😢🥺

This was a horrible verdict. She took advantage of the fact that he loved her kids. Just awful

I applaud these men for bringing a petition to the court for paternity because many of these women cannot be trusted. So it's great to see men a step ahead when it comes to matters like this.

The defendant made me mad with that smirk on her face. This is a serious matter. My heart goes out to the plaintiff and the children.

This was a powerful episode. My heart cried tears of pain for him and tears of joy because God placed him in front of the right black man Judge Mathis. Whew, this was deep on so many levels. 🙏🏽

He has a clean slate now! If I were him I would figure out what I would like to do with my life go back to school and pursue that profession become skilled and make lots of money, success is the best revenge!

So am here bawling my eyes out for this young man. I can feel his pain. I too never had my dad in my and even in my late 40's it still hurts. Some of these women need to do better and stop sleeping around and bring kids into to world who will be confused about who there father is

Man, big upps to the gentlemen taking responsibility, despite the outcome. That's a heavy load, so SALUTE!!! But I'm extremely impressed at how Judge Mathis helped the gentleman articulate his case. The gentleman was nervous, Judge Mathis sensed it. Instead of making a fool of the man, Judge Mathis handled it with grace and compassion. OG SHIT!!!!

Judge Mathis you gave this young man some wonderful advice. Turn his PAIN into PURPOSE.

As a father this particular show was EXTREMELY difficult to watch! I felt all of his pain and his want to be a father to those kids. I hope he’s able to make his own kids with a wife one day!

Several guys I know personally have gone through this ish someway somehow but they were smart enough to get DNA test done from the jump.Fellas, it's a lot of women taking on multiple dudes days, weeks apart so be careful. Wrap up and don't get caught up.

The plaintiff knew, her body language, demeanor told her story Lesson learned, lady's, also men STOP playing house and coupling up having lustful desires and not thinking there are consequences to the acts and actions committed rather finger pointing Start doing things God way rather your way. Do the courtship the upright ways, there's more to a and any relationship than between the sheets with fornication. Transform your mindset, the devil, these streets, the music, the lifestyle choices, has satan running amok and have a stronghold upon you all to having you partaking and participating in things that goes against Gods rules, laws, principles, commands, warnings, ...... It's time to WAKE up and stop doing and partaking in activities that is detrimental and to your own demise Generational cycles and curses..... Their history display such from their family lineages; hence satan is having a field day with hosting and stronghold folks on and at all levels of life: mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, devotionally, fruitfully, truthfully, family unity, health-wise, etcetera..... But still the children or child always suffers and he or she see and hear the shenanigans and display and act out same or similar behavioral pattern

This is really heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹. I can admit I dropped a few tears. I wish him peace and many blissings because he has a kind heart. He was around even not knowing of the kid was his child and even though another man was on the birth certificate. Side note: Sometimes ppl do crimes of survival, and that’s probably what his was. I wish him well in his future endeavors. 💪🏾💙
