He always had Temple Basketball playing above their talent level, and Temple basketball has done nothing special since he left. He put Temple basketball on the Map, and it disappeared after he was gone. I remember coming across John Chaney and Temple basketball the first time while coming across a game on the radio. They were playing North Carolina....Temple upset Highly rated North Carolina that night, and I went to school the next day and other kids were talking about the upset. I became a fan of Temple basketball that night. Thanks for the great tournament runs and big upsets, Coach.

This memorial was trash. Kendrick did very well but Vince barely said anything. This reminds me of when Tark passed away. It happened the same week as Dean Smith. Now, I understand Dean was more reveared but Tark barely got a blip across the bottom of the screen. ESPN needs to do better. Hopefully Stephen A. does something on Monday.
