Great job, Joe! That whole thing looks so pitiful, I would be tempted to replace the whole assembly. Best of Luck in the ongoing process. If anyone can save it, it's you. Determination and Persistence and are key you've got both, along with you history of experience to guide you. Experience is what I lack for jobs like this, though I do try to tackle them. Videos like this will help those like me.

Thank you for such an encouraging comment. This caliper is definitely a challenge and in rough shape. Much easier just to replace it but what fun would that be? LOL If you have time & whatever you need to work on is already broken, just try to make the repair. Nothing to loose & only experience gained, even if it is what not to do next time. I had plenty of the latter, so did Edison from what I read. LOL Stay well, Joe Z

Thank you. Just letting you know I had to use an acetylene torch. Some how I lost that footage. I did use a propane torch just today when changing a brake hose. The break line nut was rusted pretty bad. I though this video would fare better. Only 5 likes, not too many views & I lost 2 subscribers to booth ;>( Never know what or why. Stay well, Joe Z
