Repairing brake light on 1991 Toyota Pickup 

I had completely forgotten about my set of Japanese screwdrivers until you mentioned yours! Not many people know about Japanese Industry Standard (“JIS”) tools. They are close to our Phillips but not the same. I bought mine many years ago to work on a classic 1965 Honda Passport scooter. I didn’t want to chew up the screw heads so I purchased the JIS set on eBay or Amazon or somewhere. I’ll have to go look for them because I got a fix-it ticket on my 2001 Tacoma (brake light out).

Those bulbs are tuff and don’t brake often. But it’s wise to wear gloves when removing them. Your fingers will thank you later. Also you can use some wd40 to help loosen the base of the bulb.

Yes it’s the ground if the light is dim. Heaven forbid you ever cut any light wire.

are all 3 the same bulb?

I'm kind of confused. my lens doesn't fall out. Can I pull the bulb socket out of the back when I take the 4 screws off?

The Toyota pickup takes a 1157 as a break light? Gotta change mine out so I wanna make sure I get the right ones

Hey do you think you could test the tps plug voltage for me? I know kinda random but I have a 22re 92 with problem's thank's anyway.
