Thanks worked like a charm! On my Audi a5 I replaced the battery and it worked straight away without any issues but my Audi a4 2006 I just replaced batteries in both keys and thought that those were bad batteries but found this video and they both work now.

Thanks for this video. I just did this successfully. However, you must come out of the car and close the door before trying the remote. I also needed to repeat the whole procedure a couple of times before it worked.

It flashes once like it normally would when pushing a button but then i keeps flashing for 3-4 seconds continously and goes of. It does this on all three buttons. Anyone?

Didn't work on my B7 RS4 possibility cos I didn't change the fob battery, I changed the car battery - the following worked for my situation / model tho ; Steps to reprogram keys to a car they are already linked to: 1. Press and hold the unlock key on a remote 2. Insert key in ignition and turn to on (while still holding unlock) 3. Hold unlock while in the on position for 2 seconds 4. Turn key to off, remove from ignition and release button.

I've tried this 7 times, with a new cr2032 and....nothing. please help...
