So if I take out the motherboard and transfer to a different case I need to do this or the pc won’t turn on ?

I once again have the 3FO problem, windows & bios do not see the m2 drive. I am not sure but I think I replaced battery and used jumper to clear cmos last time, but maybe the drive is death for real this time.
