I feel like people aren't treating her fairly. I actually tried cooking one of her recipes, and I can say that without a doubt it's way worse than you could ever imagine.
@@madelynnhubbell4120 probably didn't follow instructions perfectly. If you make a mistake following these instructions, you are more likely to get a better result.
I feel so bad for their kids. These fatties need to be detained and taught how to cook a decent meal. They're literally abusing their children feeding them this shit.
I was thinking the same thing...its been awhile since I had anything with liquid smoke in it but I don't remember it being half the container like this one is using
As someone who has more than once almost ruined entire meals with just a few *drops* too much of liquid smoke, I was genuinely horrified when she started dumping it in by the tablespoon. That shit is one of the single most powerful things you can cook with. A couple drops can make a piece of meat taste like it came straight off a grill, so I imagine "3 or 4 tablespoons" would be like throwing water on a raging bonfire and taking a deep breath as the cloud washed over you.
I can imagine it’s like beau monde seasoning. Just a bit makes a nice flavor profile. 3-4 tablespoons and youre going to wish you didn’t have tastebuds
@@the_original_Bilb_Ono/videos Always thought it was interesting that Sodium in pure form is explosive in water and Chlorine in gas form is a bio-weapon. Mix them together and, you get table salt.
I love all of his "chef" characters, we've got the Maestro of Mayonnaise, the Saint of Sugar , the Mistress of Minced Meat, and of course, the Sultan of Salt
This comment was meant more as a joke, but you’re absolutely right. And it isn’t just animal abuse. Logan Paul is still being promoted where any other channel tha tv showed a dead body would have been terminated. James Charles still has sexual assault allegations against him but still gets put on trending every other day. It’s fucking bullshit.
@Noah Tetreault I understand this is a joke but come on. What Ssoyoung does to animals is horrifying. But tell me, have you ever seen slaughterhouse footage? Yes, ripping the flesh off a squid while it is fully conscious is reprehensible, but tell me how bolt-gunning a cow in the skull and slashing it’s throat open so that you can have a burger any better? Keep in mind that bolt-gunning cows is standard practice in the meat industry and is proven to not be an effective way of killing cows instantly, meaning that some cows choke on their own blood for 10 minutes before they finally die due to their necks being slit. Put this into perspective and ask yourself if eating meat is really worth having this in your conscience.
@@noahtetreault3859 i meann It was scummy of Logan Paul to post it but he wasn't mutilating or disrespecting the body from what i remember And last I heard they were just rumors made by other another big RU-vidr's he had beef with. I dunno much about it but i remember Critikal making a vid about it way back
Yeah it’s all pretty gnarly but your palates gotta be entirely nonexistent if your using that much liquid smoke. No wonder they reckon the foods good, they have no sense of taste!
Do you cook it for occasions or is it just like a weekend meal? Even though my family comes from places in the states that eat chicken gizards ive never eaten it.
This cooking is the equivalent of a person who opens the fridge and sees nothing to eat in there, closes it, and opens it again over and over to the point where they say “Fuck it, imma just throw whatever I can find in a pot and call it a day”
As an Asian never have I ever been offended by the way she cooked that chicken gizzard and the way she just dumped rice in there, I heard my ancestors scream from their very graves
"I feel like you're bringing the chicken back to life" is an underrated comment.Charlie's soothing moose-like voice, the strange yellow-white chunks boiling in a cauldron, the hands of a woman who has shaken hands with death, it's alllll here. This was a holistic experience.
4:39 This looks like that decomposed pot of food you see in the Resident Evil 7 kitchen. Except even when that was left out for months you could tell it had some degree of direction when it was made. And resembled food
Liquid smoke is a thing but I’ve never really seen a recipe where they just dump it in there like that lol every one I’ve seen use it says to use it sparingly I think.
Dude that what I said. Royal families have been doing it for thousands of years and now that I fuck my sister it's weird. Nah feels pretty natural to me.
As an Asian, the way she uses the rice makes the souls of my ancestors within me scream in horror. like when alderaan got destroyed by the death star and obi wan sensed the screams of the people with the force
he would somehow make it worse man can't cook to save his life either, nor can he follow directions, so that's a disaster waiting to happen lol let's pray that Matt spots him at least lmao
Fun fact: The chicken and rice recipe shown in the video is an actual dish in my hometown and my family. Except for the fact that we don't add nothing but springbeans, some onion and msg, and just like..a tiny pinch of salt. That shit tastes damn good, and is actually my favorite dish. I still remember when i was young, and whenever I got a cold, that was what i ate. Old granny just nailed it everytime. Nothing is better than a hot rice chicken soup when it's cold outside/you are sick, and you can't convince me the otherwise. (And yes, it's a soup recipe which required you to precook the rice soup, not just fucking DUMPING the whole already cooked rice)
@@neckbeardmcgee9611 No dude. You said "sodium chloride". Yes, it's the same as salt, but you could've just said "salt" instead. Everyone in this town knows you're a boy genius, dude. You don't need to say overly large words to sound intelligent. The fact of the matter is, that nobody cares how smart you are. If anything, calling simplistic things by their scientific names ironically makes you seem less intelligent and more pretentious. I know you're smart enough to be better than this
@@neckbeardmcgee9611 Actually dudes, this is iodized table salt. Which in addition to sodium chloride, contains anti-caking agents and potassium iodate, which is added to prevent iodine deficiency. So not only are you being overly pretentious by insisting on using scientific terminology for everyday items, you are factually incorrect. Your arrogance is your downfall, Jimmy.
Right next to ya. Over here in Alabama our comedy is mostly done during the weekly Saturday drinkathon where everyone had no clue what all of us are doing

@Stellvia Hoenheim ehhhem, trolls, even the reclusive cave variety, function naturally on a binary gender/sex system. While it is a cave troll, it most certainly is also a female. Thusly referred to as a lady. Just look at its luscious breasts and the sleek womanly contours of the body lol
I have been working in the food industry for almost 15 years and I cannot count how many times people tell me they can cook. This is what they make lol.
I looked at her twitter and you should see the food she makes now, it's honestly impressive how much better she has gotten at cooking her food actually looks really good now. I think she even lost weight as well.
Touching raw chicken, then grabbing the spices and stuff, then back to the raw chicken, then just wiping your hands on a towel and continuing your day. Wonderful.
"You can't liquify smoke" You, in fact, can lol. Smoke is made of solids, gasses, and I believe even liquids all floating around. Liquids, obviously, are already liquid. Gas can easily be converted into liquid. The solids just have to float around inside the liquid smoke and don't really do anything. I believe all you need to do is basically cover the smoke so it can't escape and let it drip down, but I'm not certain. I think it's kind of like steam getting on the mirrors in the bathroom and turning to liquid water.
Jordan Johnston sugar usually isn’t what directly causes diabetes type 2. Rather it’s a bunch of other factors, like obesity, and genetics. Sugar just makes it worse. And too much butter can cause obesity, therefore it can lead to diabetes. BUT sugar can also lead to obesity, so you’re not wrong.
Raised by a big southern lady and yeah... This is exactly how my grandma would cook lmao 😂 Thankfully my mom moved out of the south and learned a whole variety of cooking that she passed down to her kids. The issue with southern cooking is there is technique but it's all very unorthodox and most times they're putting shit together that they just shouldn't 🤢 but if you take the very hands on strap-rockets-to-your-ass-and-just-go technique southern cooking has and apply it to other dishes, it produces really cool results. Although some Southern dishes like cornbread, biscuits, grits, fried squash/okra, beans, ect are perfect just how they are 🖤 I know this will get buried in comments so just this once I'll share my families biscuit recipe. 4 cups self rising flour (best to make your own with a little extra baking powder or add a little extra baking powder) 1 cup butter softened (or butter flavored crisco) 2 cups whole milk Chop butter into the flour until it's a fine grainy consistency, then add your milk and stir/knead smooth. Add milk/flour as needed if your dough is too dry/sticky. Dough should feel smooth and slightly sticky but shouldn't cling to your fingers. Roll into 3" balls on a baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter. Bake at 425° for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Great with Preserves, Buttered, or best with some sausage gravy 😜
Maybe your grandmother just couldnt cook. You're terribly misrepresenting the south's culinary capabilities. I've lived in the state of MS for my entire life and I've never been around anyone who created monstrosities like the woman, but I dont eat food from people who cant cook.
Of course there's "that guy" :P Maybe I should clarify that my family comes from NC, VA deep in the holler lol my great grandma could make a mean Squirrel 😋 also I would hope it is apparent I'm speaking anecdotally and not stereotypically. :)
