I have to do this I eat 500 and have to bump up to 1200 I'm still dieting I stopped eating 3 weeks ago. I lost 13 pounds. I add 100 a week to avoid refeeding syndrome.

Hey friend! Definitely follow me on Insta if you don't already, I put out tons and tons of free nutrition/fitness/health content. I run a big platform alongside Bryan Boorstein called Paragon Training Methods, we put out evidenced-based workouts to help people look and feel great in 30-60 minutes. Most of my goals these days really revolve around supporting our Paragon members and content creation, I actually am not training for anything specific in the gym other than to just feel good and enjoy myself right now (after years of competitive exercise and overtraining)

@@Manuel421 I try my best to respond when I can, but IG is my primary platform x2 and I don't spend tons of time here other than when I post a video every 2-3 weeks. It would be good to know if we need to eat more than maintenance calories to heal our metabolism before starting the reverse diet because then "all in" could be a better approach. But is it possible to know? Is extreme hunger a sign?

Hi I'm in a calorie deficit since March this year I'm 5'7 and I started at 69kg but now I weigh 36.6kg. Hoping to loose another few kgs to maybe around 55kg. Should I contuine to stay in a deficit or go back to maintance build some more muscle and the cut again or do you think I can stay in maintanice to lose the extra kgs

Do the weeks spent building up toward maintenance calories count toward total weeks reverse dieting or do we start punting once we reach maintenance?

Question for you- if I need to decrease cardio and would like to try increasing a few hundred calories, how would you go about those changes? Thank you!

I definitely wouldn't do it all at once. I would slowly decrease cardio over time.. IE if you do 30 minutes a day, drop it down to 20 minutes a day.. in 2-3 weeks, drop it down to 10 minutes a day, etc. Same thing, would probably wait to make any nutritional changes // wouldn't be doing them at the same time you're also trying to change cardio stuff. Kinda think back to high school or college science experiments, really only want to be changing 1 variable at a time (:

What would you recommend doing first? Dropping cardio? What’s your general recommendation for cardio? I’ve been doing 30-1hour for years and years and years (i lift in addition to cardio) and I’m over it but don’t necessarily want my body to change if that makes sense. Possible? Thoughts?

might risk seeing weight gain if you go from 0 food to eating all the food. Never want to do anything fast in nutrition imo, slow and steady always wins

Can you do this when you're overweight or is it too late? I have lost no weight on a healthy diet of 1200 in 4 weeks. I carried on tracking as I wanted to be certain in my conclusion that I've adapted metabolically. I'm overweight, nearly "obese" so I feel cornered....... I'm going to try increasing. Slowly

I am the 1%. Hypoglycemic and all my weight came after 5 kids because I've never been a big eater. Found out my dad is the same way. Now I count my calories to get to 2000. My body is in starvation mode
