The complete jewish study bible is my # 1 bible of all time . great easy to understand translation and I like that it has the original hebrew names and the study notes are great
I just ordered this bible with a good sale! I enjoyed your review immensely and perspective on how to use it. I think this will help, keeping in mind the boundaries on Jewish tradition and Christian observance. Excited to dive in!
Hi , I’ve been trying to find out what are the bold letters in parentheses when starting some verses. Example; (A: v, S: iv) (vi) I cant find no information anywhere and doesn’t talk about it on the bible it’s self. Or many I haven’t find it. Can someone please explain.
While I don't agree with some of the things you've said throughout this video, I can tell you mean well and have a good heart. I appreciate the in-depth review.
The main thing I disagree with you on is that you said we don't have to follow the law. Basically you changed the scripture to say "Jesus didn't come to abolish the law; rather, he came to abolish the law." Fulfill means to 'make full', not to 'get rid of'. He showed us how to follow the law (aka the Torah) and that the law shouldn't be something we follow just as an outward showing, but should be done in our hearts as well. It's like an integrity check. The best example would be what Jesus said about fornication (Not only is the act a sin, but thinking about committing the act is also a sin).
god say his sabbath is Forever... Jesus say pray That you shall not flee during the Sabbath... Jesus warning us and say that people Will change the sabbath day... Why Will he warning us if we don’t need to keep the holy sabbath.. Jesus never broke the sabbath law Only That Jesus change with the sabbath its That we can make good things we can like healing people,
I would like to know if the Jewish portions of this Complete Jewish Study Bible are written in modern or ancient Hebrew. Also, I'd like to know if this Bible is constructed the same way the Subject Bible is, i.e., finding relevant scriptures throughout. Also, what is the cost of the Complete Jewish Study Bible? Find me on Facebook under Jeanette Zook of WV. Thank you.
I got it today. I am a new believer. English is not my first language so it’s easier for me than the Kjv. But I wonder about some contradictions? For example was the letter to the Hebrews actually written for non Jewish followers of Yeshua as it reads in the summary? Because in the Kjv it reads that it definitely was written for Jewish Christians... other than that I love it. I will learn so much thanks to it 🙏🏻
Thank you for the Review sir! Great one as usual. I just visited a Book store and went through this Bible. Quiet honestly didn't find it very informative. Only interesting thing about this Bible is that it helps with the actual names of the people and the pronunciation of it. Helps with the Feasts and Holy days of Jews. Otherwise, there is no detailed study notes like the apologetic study Bible or the Life Application Third Edition Study Bible. You can go with this if you already have a Cultural Background study Bible and if you would like to add upto it.
I love this Bible. Period. I always find it amusing when people recommend a more "literal" translation for "serious word study." A translation for word study? Silly. To do a real word study requires a Hebrew/Greek dictionary and an interlinear if you don't know those languages (which I don't) Any translation is an interpretation and literal translations often miss the many subtle meanings present in the parent language. I believe a translation to fully express the meaning of the parent language and this frequently requires far more words in the translated language than present in the parent language.
It is there but I do NOT like what it says Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh , Matthew 28:19 CJB VS. Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the holy Ghost, Matthew 28:19 Geneva Bible Nope........ Baptism is a simple act of testimony........it does NOT immerse you into the reality of God. Prayer and Study of God’s Word will immerse you.......

You only show the cover of those Bibles can you give a review of how they look inside I'm legally blind. I'm trying to find a bold letters and giant letters
Please Sir: We know heaven and earth have not yet passed away, we ought therefore to keep the whole law, including the Sabbath - which is the least of the commandments. *James 2.10, 1 John 2.4, 3.8-9, Matthew 5.48* Bless you hereby, Sir.
@Ναζωραῖος god say his sabbath is Forever... Jesus say pray That you shall not flee during the Sabbath... Jesus warning us and say that people Will change the sabbath day... Why Will he warning us if we don’t need to keep the sabbath?
The only New Testament I have found that is translated from the original Hebrew is "The Book of Yahweh". It is the only translation I have found that correctly translates the first verses of the Book of John. Michael Rood found over 2000 errors in translations that came from the Greek.
Jewish christians probably prefer to follow the sabbath and the jewish holidays like passover, pentecost, feast of trumpets, day of atonement, feast of tabernacles, etc. like Herbert W Armstrong.
I got a calfskin leather version of that bible and its the only translation that I read now . its so good that I ordered my mom one and she's hooked on it too . I love the easy to understand translation and I like how they use the original hebrew names and the study notes are very much on point . I love my CJSB
No man has seen GOD at any time... Every eye shall see the Lord, even those who pierced him, But ONLY those who pursue peace and holiness with all men shall see The LORD. It was He, which said to him: 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.' And again: 'this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.' And again: ...'Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.' Bless you thereby, Sir.
Earliest schism in christianity was probably between jewish christians (circumcision, jewish diet, sabbath, jewish holidays) and the gentile christians.
For a fascinating study of how Judaism and Christianity separated, put the following into the RU-vid search box: "How Judaism and Cristianity Separated by Rabbi Schneider". It is a series of videos. Rabbi Schneider is a messianic jew. He has a website called "discoveringthejewishjesus.com ".
I realize you wrote this 1 yr ago.DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.www.hendrickson.com/html/product/070733.trade.html This same printing Co. produces The Complete Hebrew/ Greek Bible authored by the 1881 Bible CORRUPTORS, Wescott and Hort. Soon as you click the sight, you will see their names.
Bible Truth I been reading my CJSB for the past year since I've had it and I dont see any kind of changes that takes scripture out of context . in fact , it uses the original hebrew names and I feel like the CJSB is a more accurate translation compared to the KJV
*R10.12 "there is not no distinction of the Jew, besides also of the Hellene, for the same One is LOrd of all, being rich into all those calling on Him."* *G3.28 Not is the one individual a Jew, but also not a Hellene, not is the one individual a slave, but also not a free one, not is the one individual male nor suckling; for you altogether, you are of Christ Jesus."*
i am sorry shabbath is from the beginning in gen .. father has not done away with them .. Christianity is rooted in Judaism this is why there is seperation because you dont want to keep his holy days .. even in Exodus there was a multitude of people that left ( mixed ) .. sorry pastor you should keep shabbth
Like most Bibles, the Exodus map is useless. It shows the Hebrews running around the peninsula and never crossing Yam Suph. After much study I have found that Nuaba beach in the now Sinai peninsula is the best crossing place. The idea that they walked in shallow water in reeds is an insult to the text where it says that the water was a wall on boths sides. :-) God bless
You folks need to learn that Soloman had placed 2 pillars where the Isrealites crossed the Red Sea. Saudi Arabua Government allowed one of the pillars to be restood in 2013. It's a place no Westerner is allowed. So finding it would be from Yisreal pictures or a Jewish American you took the pictures of it. Search Google.
Michael Weil I see that you do your research. Me also. I see you posted this 1 year ago. Sometimes I cant understand why these posts take so long.www.hendrickson.com/html/product/070733.trade.html Here is a link to that Hendrickson publisher. Which is the same place that this book was published. If you click it on, it says, The complete Hebrew/ Greek bible Gives the editors that did the 1881 bible corruptions. SMH. God Bless you.
Dear Sir: The Sabbath Day command has therefore become the 'least of the 10 Commandments,' seeing that we ought to kept it Holy, just one day: the seventh. While the other nine commands of the Law, shall be kept at all times by the Saints. And so we are forewarned, and admonished. *Matthew 5.18-19, James 2.10* Bless you thereby!
You are mistaken that no one kept the Sabbath after the Old Testament, as it predated the law. Also, many Christians miss the fact that the phrase "first of the week" has italics and should be translated "cessation of the Sabbath". It is Shabbat Shabbaton, a Hebrew term untranslated into Greek. The believers would meet right after sundown of the Sabbath, in the evening, which was technically for them the first day of the week, as the Biblical day starts at sundown.
I personally don't care what people say about JESUS I KNOW HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY SAVIOR WHERE BY A man can find rest for his soul. IF THERE IS ANOTHER SAVIOR PLEASE SHOW ME BECAUSE FROM WHat I've seen and heard there is no other name under heaven that demons and devils have to submit to but the name Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace. Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:4) Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.(Colossians 2:16-17) Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Read: Galatians 1:6-9 Galatians 3:24-25 Romans 7:1-7 2 Corinthians 3 The 10 commandments and the Sabbath were given ONLY to Jews, but Sabbatarians falsely state that the ten commandments are for all mankind from Adam to the second coming. 1. The Ten commandments are the Old Covenant: Ex 34:27-28 2. The Old Covenant was abolished: Heb 8:13 3. The Ten Commandments are therefore abolished! Jeremiah 3:14-17 proves the 10 commandments were to be abolished when Christ came. When Sabbatarians see the word "commandments" they think the word refers solely to the 10 commandments. But the truth is "Jesus commandments" are not the 10 commandments!
