hi, whats the difference between S9 and Alpha-S9? i don't found nothing in the web and in amazon i found only Alpha-S9

@@blackrenegado5317 Hi, is the same scooter. On our website we have simplified his name, in the past we called him Alpha-S9, they are the same scooter, no difference. Thank you for your question.

That scooter is a good competitor for the Segway Ninebot Max G2, i like the manual disc brakes, the front Fork suspension, removable battery is a sweet idea incase you have a spare battery like you mentioned in the video and the Turn signals in the back! 😁👌 Im actually working on adding some to the max G2 because that is one of my small issues with it riding it on the street, which is no rear turn signals. 😅

Yah the Rictor S9 is a pretty zippy scooter. I like the standard features it comes with, especially at the price point. My favorite is hands down the ABS brakes. Made braking in the rain uneventful, as it should be haha. Rear turn signals would be great on the G2. I find that I inadvertently cover the signals from time to time because my hands gravitate towards the end of the handlebars. Are you going to make a video of your install? That would be awesome 😎.

@tomsgadgetgarage im thinking about putting it on video. What i have to do first is test that the extra turn signals being added will still light up with the original turn signals, like making sure its not too much of an extra load of the circuit board. The same goes for the LED side markers i want to add, which would be tapping into the headlight wiring. It will definitely reduce the range of the scooter by a bit having those extra lights added. 😅

Side LEDs would be really nice, especially ones that reflect off the ground. Would make you waaay more visible. Headlights and taillights are just not enough with all the distracted drivers. Basically need to light yourself up until the point when people start reporting UFO sittings haha.

Hey! You have to download the Rictor app. Once downloaded you can bind the scooter. In the menu at the top left, select device position and there will be an option to toggle the max speed. Right now the slider appears to only show kilometers per hour. I just slide it all the way to the right for the full 25mph. I had a hard time finding the app so I searched online for it and found the iOS App Store URL here: apps.apple.com/us/app/rictor/id6466732156

Hmm, try force quitting out of the app, power on the scooter, then re-open the app. It takes a bit for the app to discover the scooter.

It’s an elevated area at the rear of the deck to put your foot. It’s essentially a surface to “push” off of when accelerating to counteract the backward motion of your body as the scooter pulls away from you. It’s very helpful in fast acceleration scenarios as it allows you to keep your body weight forward and therefore exert less force on the stem. Not sure about the origins of the name, but may be related to a kick tail on a longboard or skateboard.
