This video is a documentary about why I think Rocket League is the greatest esport of all time. My opinion does take into consideration the most popular esports such as League of Legends, however, I still believe Rocket League is great for many simple facts that are discussed in this video.

This is one of the most unique videos I've uploaded on my channel. This was more of a passion project of mine instead of a normal RU-vid video. You might have noticed I didn't put an end screen or any cards. I'm not expecting this video to do that well. I'm just hoping those that do see it enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. I don't normally make documentary style videos like these but I had a great time making this one. It definitely took much more work than my normal videos do but if you all enjoy this enough, I may make more in the future about different topics. One thing that Is really cool about rocket league is that you can’t really carry over skills from other games (excluding sarpbc of course). Like in all FPS’s you will still have your good aim from other games but for rocket league, everyone who plays the game started fresh.

Great video. For those of you who like this kind of content i can not recommend the Melee Smash Doc enough. Despite the games being different genres there are a ton of similarities between melee and RL (difficult mechanics, mental outplay, sandbox physics, etc). You might just discover a new favorite esport

One of my favorite aspects of rocket league is how vastly different the pro 1v1's are compared to 3's. When you remove the team aspect of the game it becomes like a fighting game where you play footsies to try and get stage control / positioning or catch your opponent over extending and things like that. As a spectator its very refreshing to have such vastly different viewing experiences

This video is deep.... I started playing in late season 2 and I never seen rocket league the way this video describes it. The key point that touched me is that there's no set animation for example like csgo where you only have 1 animation for each gun reloading or other games where you can only do a certain thing at a certain place. But with rocket league, it's legit a sandbox where you can control your car however you like and whenever you like in any way imaginable. And to even do all that in ranked is insane too. There should be a world cup for this game in the future.
