Roland Fantom 0 - TR-REC, Arps, LFO and Layering - Intermediate Tutorial 1

Here's a new tutorial on making intermediate accompaniments using the Roland Fantom 06/07/08 keyboard series. I'm using it for my church, but the techniques can apply anywhere.
In this tutorial I use TR-Rec, tone selection and editing, zone layering, arps and real-time rhythm control.
Disclaimers:
- I know the cameras are awful. Sorry, I'll do better next time!
- I totally dropped the beat on verse one of the play-through at the end. I probably needed a slower tempo to manage it all live.
- If I had more time, I would have put the drums in groups and made a song. I'll show how to do that in a future video.

I bought this thing for the TR rec function so I can have something to play with while I fool around on the keys. I decided to teach myself keys before I get a real teacher or something. I'm more of a tech enthusiast than a musician but I like messing with sounds so I enjoy music. thanks for providing content on this keyboard.

Hey Paul, I hope you are well. You haven't made a video for a while now. If you are stuck for ideas you could explain the depth function increments on the LFO destination. I've been at it all day and the manual has a ,mention but as usual with Roland it's as clear as mud

I’m struggling with the basics of the screen menus, scenes, zones, etc..on my Fantom-0. The menu with its tone edit, effects edit and zone edit, along with their complicated flowcharts is quite daunting. If anyone with the knowledge has the time to make a video that goes back to square one, it would be really useful. Even Roland’s Ed Diaz’s videos gloss over these things.

Sorry it's so hard to get started. I agree that all the buttons and menus can be overwhelming. The good news is that once you figure it out (and I'm confident you will!) most keyboards are similar. It's just a matter of finding where they put the different features.
