In this video, I explore a route which starts along the peaceful Ancaster Valley Nature Reserve. The hike then takes in the historical village of Ancaster which was once a Roman settlement situated on Ermine Street, a Roman road linking London with York.
After discovering lots of Roman history in the church of St Martin's I continue to make my way along the idyllic Woodland Waters and stop for lunch. The weather was hot as the UK has been experiencing a heatwave during the end of June.
A great hike of around 4.5 miles.
