I'm sure the spacer will be fine bc the Tahoe is a light weight truck, but my personal opinion is to always run hubcentric spacers if you have to run a spacer.

I agree with the loctite and torquing the wheel spacers that's the way I've done for the last 15 years and never had a problem. Headlights turned out sick. Great vids 👍

I have the flow master 40 series on my Silverado 5.3 and it’s not loud in the cab and it gives the truck a nice deep rumble. It’s a catback/muffler/y-pipe/dual exit with chrome 4 inch tips

I have a flow master on my 5.3 and it sounds perfect. Nice low growl sounds great revved up but also not too obnoxious. Also those headlights look amazing

For the exhaust I suggest the flowmaster 40 series or 50 series. The 40 series a little louder than the 50 but it still isn’t even that loud but they both sound amazing especially on the 5.3 Vortec and it’ll possibly add a little more power just because it’ll let the exhaust flow a little bit better.

MBRP Cat back sounds awesome. Had one on my 2010 5.3 and it wasn’t load cruising, but sounded great accelerating.

Looks amazing and now I know some one who make good custom headlights. I put a magnaflow on my old truck. Decent sound not too loud but you have the deep rumble.

Flowmaster 40 series sounds great! I have it on my 2013 chevy silverado 1500 5.3l with a cold air intake! Loud enough on the gas and quit to creep through the neighborhood!

Spintech mufflers sound great on 5.3's. I had the 5000 series on my 05. (Video on my channel). Nothing else done to the tahoe. They also offer them in stainless steel. Very very minimal drone with windows up, and can't even hear it with music on. The 5000 series is loudest at higher rpms, like when you floor it. Cruising, and at idle, it has a nice deep rumble. It's not stupid loud with a bunch of drone like flowmasters.

They look great!!! Yea I’d agree with flowmaster also. I think it’s the super 40 that’s the quieter one? On their site you can listen to the exhaust notes of each model, then pick the one that your looking for. 👌🏻🤘🏻

I have a dual catback exhaust system on my 13 Silverado and gives a really nice deep sound. Not too loud but not too quiet

Just literally put a exhaust on my 2007 Yukon. Didnt want really loud either went with a Flowmaster super 40 and deleted the resonator at the back and that's it. Sounds absolutely amazing. Zero drone at highway speeds btw.

For a muffler. Looking into dynomax super turbo or the x flow. I owned both and loved both of them. I have the super turbo on my f150. No drone at all, sounds aggressive!! My 03 ss Silverado had the x flow no drone and sounded aggressive. Love the content!!!

Corsa exhaust. Sounds amazing when wide open throttle and under acceleration. No drone at hwy speeds. Look at their db series for decent pricing. Another option is banks monster exhaust muffler. I ran it on my 2002 Tahoe. Sounds super deep but does have drone.

Something cheap for the exhaust; resonator and muffler delete to a 4 or 5 inch tip. It’ll sound really good and if it’s too loud for you magnaflow or flowmaster. I’d recommend super 10 for a louder sound or super 40 for quieter. Absolutely LOVE those headlights

I've got a 2011 Silverado with the 5.3 and I got dual straight pipes after the 3rd catalytic converter, so not a true dual system. Don't know if the tahoe has a 3rd but I love the sound I got, not too loud but still a good rumble.

Flowmaster is the way to go I have a loud exhaust on mine which is high flow cats with 2 flowmaster outlaws but if you do something more quiet maybe you could do a Super 40 and for a subtle approach maybe have 2 corner tips that maybe could be like 3” tips instead of big ones since it’s a Tahoe👍🏼

does it matter what lugs you use for spacer/wheel? i have 2 inch spacers on my f150 and i used the lug nuts from the wheels for the spacer and the lugs that came with the spacer to put the wheel on, did i mess that up? i havent felt anything wrong driving

I went with #mbrp dual exhaust on my 2015 Sierra slt. Comes out behind each rear tire. Not to loud unless it’s a cold start or you step on it. Five stars, highly recommend

I have a 5.3 single cab and all I did was cut the pipe off from a foot before the cat and had a true dual pipe go out. It gives a loud sound when you step on it but if you want it to be quiet it can

I put a 3” diameter cherry bomb glass pack 29” long on my Yukon with a black rbp 5” tip and it sounds great! Not to loud, no drone in the cab but if you really get on her she will come alive!

Exhaust best for 5.3 I have a 2005 Silverado and I put a black widow race venom and it’s nothing crazy it just lets you actually hear it but if you want a little more power and noise definitely go with some long tubes

3" Dynomax Race bullet. Rotate factory tailpipe for an axle dump with a tip. Sounds fantastic on my 18 Silverado

Magnaflow Magnaflow Magnaflow. Personal favorite of mine. Systems are flawless and customer service is just amazing. Warranty on the mufflers can’t be beat. Flowmaster to me just sound like an empty cambles soup cans. They are great for your 1st exhaust mod when your 16. Lol.

keep factory exhaust pipe, go with a “flow master high flow cat” and a pretty black tip that’s what i ran on my shorty and it didn’t sound ratty and it was easy work, it had a good mellow beefed up sound

idk if it’s any different with the years but i have an 02 tahoe lifted 6 inches on 35s and 12.50 wide only runs at full lock. didn’t do any trimming.

5.3 sound good if you cut the factory Y pipe off and run true dual straights with the cats. So duals cats and no muffler. Deep sound. Doesn’t clap like the squat trucks like to do and is pretty loud but tame

Great build as always but just wondering why not hub centric wheel spacers.. The weight of the truck is going to be on the studs it's self and that's what the hub centric is for the ring in the middle is for to distribute the weight better...

Check out Aero Turbine exhaust. I remember watching a few clips on some 5.3s awhile back that had them and sounded pretty good! Also.. you was talking about spare tire delete on IG.. look into doing a custom rear skid plate? Never seen done before on a Tahoe so that would be pretty cool

How much were those spacers? I see them range from 50$ to $200. And also questions my Tacoma is a 6x5.5 so could I get Silverado 1500 spacers since they have a 6x5.5 as well?
